My life as a heterosexual crossdresser.

Last day of the year shopping trip

Well December 31 2010 is here and as the year comes to an end I went shopping this morning. I had hoped to get an earlier start but for some reason Susan takes longer in the morning to get ready then the evening. I started off by going to see if I could get a wig to replace the one I wear almost all the time. The blonde one in my profile pictures. I have been looking online and not able to find it so I went to Wells Wigs which is where I bought it 3 years ago. I got there about 11:00 and went in. Just as I was afraid of they do not make that style any more. The ladies there were really nice and I tried on several different wigs which was fun in itself. I did find one that I liked the style and looked good on me I thought and so did the ladies working there so I went ahead and bought it. A little more expensive then I planned and of course I wore it out putting my old wig in the box. It is longer than my other one and the lady there told me it would help keep the ends from frizzing if I kept it from rubbing on clothes so she recommended I buy a hair clip and when driving my car clip the hair up to keep it from rubbing between me and the seat. So of course that meant a trip to Rite Aid across the street. They were not busy at all so I was in and out pretty quick.

My next stop was Lloyd Center. On the way there driving in the sun I noticed the new wig is more blonde then my other one so I will have to get use to it. I got to Lloyd Center and parked by Sears and went in. my first stop was the shoe section and they had some of the cutest boots on sale for half off. I found 3 I really liked but the largest size was a 10 which I could get my foot in but not zip up the side, if only they had it in a 10 wide. From there I went to check out their closeout section but most of what they had was junior or petite sizes so I moved on to check out the rest of the store. I was surprised how busy the mall was on a Friday during the day. I went out into the mall and walked down to Torrid and looked around. Nothing really jumped out at me so I decided to head for home as I wanted to beat the traffic. I figured being a Friday and New Years Eve people would leave work early.

I had my computer with me in the car and as I was cold, open toed shoes and nylons do not keep your feet warm when it is below freezing out. I thought about stopping at Starbuck’s but as I have gone there the last two nights in a row I decided to try another one. There is one about 3 miles from the one I always go to and I have been there before. It is actually the first one I ever went to and had gone there a few times till they started to remodel it and were closing at 7 and as Susan is an evening girl most of the time I went to the other one and got to know the girls there and well you know the rest. Anyway I stopped in and they were pretty busy. This one has a drive through also so I was surprised to see how many people were inside during the day.

Any way I ordered my drink and was getting my computer set up when I heard someone call my name, not my male name but Susan. I turned around and it was Katie who worked at the one I go to all the time. Turns out they moved her to this one as the Assistant Manager. It was so cool to see her as I think the last time I saw her was back in July. She remembered my name and even complimented me on my new hair, how sweet is that. We talked for a few minutes and she told me I need to stop in at this one now. She works the day shifts so I guess if I want to go to Starbuck’s during the day this is the one I will have to come to. Anyway I got on line and Cassandra was also on line so we chatted for a while. They really want me to come out tonight even for just a couple hours so now I am thinking maybe I will. If I got home and in bed by 11 I could get maybe 5 hours of sleep before I have to get up and rush off to work. It would really make me tired tomorrow but for one night I think I could so yes I think I will go out tonight and see all my wonderful friends.

I wish you all a happy Safe New Year and may next year be better than this year. Be safe!

Cold night before New Years

Well I did make it out tonight but later than I hoped. I was running late all day as I was really busy at work so I got home late and by the time Susan was ready it was too late to really go shopping and as it is really cold, about 29 right now something warm to drink sounded good so yes you all guessed it. I am back at Starbuck’s. 2 nights in a row but that is okay as I have some work I need to finish on my computer by tomorrow so just a quick post and then I must get busy. If I can finish it tonight I have all day free tomorrow (Friday) so I may just go shopping then. That would be a fun way to close out the year.

It is so hard to believe that the year ends tomorrow night, 2010 went by so fast and was such a great year. Susan had so much fun this past year and really gained her self confidence with the help of some really wonderful friends some of which I met this past year and some I have known longer. So as I close out the year I thought I would look back through some of my blogs and see what all Susan did and accomplished in 2010 after all that was why I started my blog so I would have a record of Susan. The biggest part of the year was all my awesome friends I have. Most of whom I met through the group I belong to (Rose_City_T-Girls). I joined the group in the summer of 2008 when there were only about 20 members. Funny I can remember Cassandra telling me “Wouldn’t it be great if we could get to 100 members someday” well the group grew faster than she ever thought and not only did we get to 100 members but we are well on our way to 200 as we have 186 to close out the year. And it really is a good group as most are active in the group and a good percentage go out on a regular basis. The Halloween party Cass and Peggy through we think had around 100 people at it. This group was such a good idea and I know I would not be where I am or the girl I am without it. The members are truly my best friends.

Diva Las Vegas last spring was so fun. It is funny as I have a blog post from several years ago I stumbled across where I talked about how I wanted to go to Las Vegas and go out one night and gamble as Susan. It was kind of a goal I guess. Well this past year I did that in a big way as I not only went there and went out as Susan, I did the whole trip from start to finish as Susan living 24/7 for 11 days. It was so much fun and something a year ago I would have never thought I would do. I went down with Cassandra & Peggy for the week stopping in LA on the way down and back for a night out there and we all had so much fun. The 3 of us are planning on going again this year and trying to talk a few of the other girls in the group into going. It truly was a vacation of a lifetime and Diva Las Vegas 2011 is only 3 months away, April 3 through 8 in case any of you reading my blog are thinking of going.

My weekly trips to Starbuck’s which really just started out as a way to see if I would have the courage to go out someplace by myself as Susan has turned into a weekly outing that I really miss on the weeks I could not get out. Instead of sitting at home doing things on my computer, work, e-mail, surfing the net and even updating my blog being out in public at Starbuck’s makes it so much more fun and although I do have my favorite Starbuck’s that I go to almost all the time I did manage to go to about 15 others over the last year and must say so far everyone has treated me very well so if you are looking for a place to go I would recommend finding a Starbuck’s.

I also made it out with all my friends almost every Friday night and we did go to some new places, some worked out and some didn’t but the experience was great. I think that is what makes life fun, trying new things and great friends. On Fridays no matter what is going on at work or life in general just knowing I will get to spend time with all my friends in the group puts a smile on my face all day. I hope they all know how special they all are to me. We have also had some fantastic parties this year, Super Bowl, Valentines, Halloween, Christmas and a few others that were really just parties to get together. Cassandra & Peggy and Also Kathy & Mandy hosted them at their homes which was so awesome. They just opened their homes to the group and in almost every case covered the whole cost of the party which was way beyond what they should have done. They are truly special people.

I also went out to the movies a couple times by myself which at the time was just about being out and again seeing if I would have the courage to go in. it was fun but I think going to the movies would be better with others. You really don’t see many people going by themselves. Might be something I could see if some of the girls from the group would like to do. Also this year Susan did a lot of shopping. Just being out was what was important, looking at clothes, makeup, shoes or even just doing my weekly grocery shopping. As Susan even the mundane daily stuff is more fun. It is so strange the difference between how men and woman shop. Even still as a guy I want to get in get what I need and leave but when I am Susan I like to look around even if I don’t plan on buying anything, Susan can wonder around a store and have fun doing it. I ended up increasing Susan’s wardrobe this year by quite a bit mostly because of my trip to Diva Las Vegas and I am planning on buying more clothes for this year’s trip to Diva Las Vegas which will give Susan an excuse to go shopping.

I have also made some friends online, girls I may never meet but still fun to chat with and e-mail back and forth. Some from Flickr, or my Facebook page or even my blog. It is strange the bond you can have with someone who shares the same things you do whether here in Portland, across the country or on the other side of the world. The internet really brings people together in a way a few years ago was not possible.

It truly has been the best year of Susan’s life so far and I am sad to see the year come to an end but I know that next year, 2011 will be even better. The friendships I have made will last a lifetime and as the years go by I am sure we will become even closer. I really consider the girls in the group more like family, Sister if you will. I think of all the fun times we will have together and it puts a smile on my face.

I want to thank all my great friends that I have met along the way as you are the reason Susan is who she is today, you are all awesome in your own way. I hope you all have a happy, safe and wonderful New Year and please take a moment to think about everything good in your life and the things that are wrong or bad put aside as the good is what counts. Friends and family not money or possessions. A person with good friends is rich beyond belief.
Happy New Years to all

Hugs to all of you

Susan

Out at Starbucks

Well I made it out to Starbuck’s tonight. At first I thought I wouldn’t make it out at all this week but now it looks like I can also make it tomorrow night for a couple hours maybe. Not sure what I will do as going to Starbuck’s 2 nights in a row might be a little much of course I could try another Starbuck’s also. Any way I had a wonderful Christmas as most of my family came to town. It was really nice to see them all and spend time with them even though Susan had to hide as none of them know but as I don’t see some of them very often it was nice to just relax and talk with them plus there were some young, nephews and nieces and that makes Christmas so much more fun as little kids have such an excitement about Christmas. For me it was good as I got some nice gifts but the best part was a couple gift cards which now belong to Susan so she can go shopping for her Christmas present.

It was sad not being able to go out with my friends though last Friday and again this week I will have to miss as I have to work on Saturday morning, extra pay so really can’t pass it up. The group I belong to Rose_City_T_Girls are all planning on going to the P-club and they are making sure we have several designated drivers as there are several girls in the group that do not drink. I am so proud of all are girls as they are so responsible. They will be able to go out and have fun and party and still have a safe way home. Cassandra has made sure the last few years to arrange this before hand and has done an awesome job this year coordinating it again. I think she has 5 or 6 girls that have agreed to be designated drivers that cover any direction you need to go home that night. It really should be a fun night.

Starbucks is a little quiet tonight especially after last week when they were so busy with people getting last minutes Christmas presents. It may also be the fact they are forecasting possible snow showers tonight although they don’t think it will stick but it is cold out about 35. I really like the snow so much more than the rain so it is fine with me.

Well I will have to see what I can come up with to do tomorrow night, maybe I will just go shopping for a couple hours and then next week I will be able to get back to going out on Friday nights with my friends. I also may mix up my other night out. For so long it was every Wednesday but the last month or so I have been out on Tuesday and Thursday and it was kind of nice to break the routine and mix it up a little. Don’t like to be too predictable. But whatever I do it will end up in my blog.

I am starting to look forward to Diva Las Vegas as it is only 3 months away and I have my vacation time all set at work so I am going for sure again this year along with Cassandra and Peggy. We had such a fun time last year and I hope more of the girls from our group here in Portland can go. If you have ever thought about going out in public and having an awesome time you really should think about it. Check out their web page at http://www.geekbabe.com/dlv/. They just sent out the registration for those who have been there before so I am now all registered.

I want to thank everyone who has read my blog and left comments. It looks like this will be my best month ever for readers as my blog has been viewed 1109 times so far this month with 2 more days and my old record was 1124. I never thought I would get more than a few readers each month.

Wow in the last 20 minutes Starbucks has really gotten busy and now all the tables are full. Seems strange to get here 30 minutes before they close.

Starbuck’s on a Thursday night

Well it turns out I made it out this week after all. I finished up my Christmas shopping yesterday and got all my presents wrapped this afternoon so I am all ready for Christmas so I decided to go out tonight to Starbuck’s. I was really behind this year and even doubted if I would be ready for Christmas so Susan did not get any presents yet as I had to shop for others so after Christmas Susan will get a day of shopping and something really cute I am sure.

I got to Starbuck’s just a little later than normal and even though they are really busy not many are spending time here. Mostly just coming in and getting something to go but fir the first time I had to stand in line behind 9 people to get my drink. Even now there are about 8 people waiting to order and another 5 waiting for their drinks. You almost can’t move through the store. It is really good for them because there have been time I have been here and wondered if they would make it. The guy right in front of me ordered several gift cards, 3 glass coffee cups and a bunch of coffee beans, his order came to $209 and change. I guess people are spending more this year for Christmas which hopefully will help the economy turn around. Any way it is still a fun night out.

Well with the holiday I think things will be quiet in my group as several of the girls are going out of town for Christmas and even more have family coming in for the holiday like me. Some of my family will be here tomorrow and the rest early Christmas morning so I have had to put all my Susan stuff away except for what I am wearing now and that will be neatly tucked away when I get home tonight. I can’t take the chance of someone in my family stumbling across my stuff as I really would have no good answers. I will really miss spending time with my friends Friday night because most of them are more like family to Susan.

Next week will be just as busy as I have to work New Years Day so I again won’t make it out on New Year’s Eve which means I will miss two Friday nights with my friends and won’t see them till next year. I may try to make it out twice during the week, once to Starbuck’s and who knows maybe shopping or dinner. Either way whatever I do will end up in my blog.

Well as it is the Holidays and always a good time to reflect on the year past as we move into a new year. I think back on this year and I am amazed at how much Susan has grown this year. With the help of the wonderful friends I have made over the past couple years. I really hope they know how important they are to me as I would not be where I am today without them. They truly are some of my closet friends almost like sisters.

They are a big reason I get out as much as I do and why I was able to do Diva Las Vegas last year totally as Susan. I have wanted to go to Las Vegas and gamble as Susan for probably 10 years, I was going through an old blog where I talked about going and never made it till this year. I was planning on going this past year but would have never done the whole trip as Susan if I had gone by myself but with Cassandra and Peggy going with me it was really easy and really boosted my self confidence. We will be going again this year to Diva Las Vegas and yes I have my vacation all set. I can hardly wait 3 months and counting.

I want to thank all my Sisters in the Rose_City_T-Girl group you are all so wonderful and have a special place in my heart. I would also like to thank all those who have read my blog and left comments. They are really appreciated and helpful as they help me.

May you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy and safe New Year.

Hugs to all my wonderful friends I have met and yet to meet.

Friday night at the P-club

Well it was another fun night at the P-club which was so nice as I will not be able to make it out for the next two Friday nights. Next Friday being Christmas Eve I will spend it with my family and they know nothing of Susan. The following week being short handed at work I will be working very early New Years day so I will have to be in bed by 8 New Years Eve so again must miss that night which is okay as I get double time in a half for working New Years Day so the extra money will buy Susan some nice Christmas presents, Susan is by far the easiest won to shop for on my Christmas list as I know just what she likes. It is so strange to look back a few years before I started to go out regularly, this was the time of year I did all of the shopping for Susan as with everyone buy gifts no one even gives you a second no matter what you are buying as they just figure it is a gift for a girlfriend, wife, or sister. It makes it so much easier shopping if you are not going out regular.

I decided to wear my black dress which is nothing new as I like it a lot but tonight I wore black panty hose which I had just bought and my black knee high boots with the 3″ heels. I really like the boots the only reason I don’t wear them more is they do not breathe well and my feet get really hot but as it was a cold night with the forecast of possible snow they were perfect.

Any way I got to the P-club at 7:30 our normal time and their parking lot was full so I had to park on the street about a half block away, this was the first time I think this has happened. I went inside and they had a big group at the tables by the dance floor. Kind of looked like a party and with Christmas a week away that is what I would guess. Michele, Melissa, Norma, and Chris were already there so I joined them and we put 3 tables together as we knew more would soon be there. I saw Cassandra pulling in as I was walking in. we had no more than put the tables together when Cassandra, Peggy and Maya came in. Peggy, Chris, Melissa and I were all at the one end of the table and we had such a nice chat about just about everything. There is something so fun about good conversation while you are eating. It is really a fun way to spend an evening.

Soon Brooke, Cristine and Bob shoed up and our group filled the three tables we had but with a couple playing pool we were still okay. Cassandra’s pool game was off and she did not dominate the pool table which is really rare but we were all having a great time. Soon a few of the girls started to play shuffle board and soon the group had moved more up to that area. Peggy and I played a couple games and even won once. The group was having a great time.

Maya talked me into playing her ping pong which is fun even though she is really good and I knew I wouldn’t win. Not having 4″ heels help my game as I could move better. The first game she won easily but the second I did pretty good. I even had the lead a couple times but in the end she won 21 to 19 but I really had to work for it and she didn’t. The biggest issue was my hair which kept getting in my face. I am thinking had I had short hair and flats on I might have just beat her but it was still way to much fun.

It was back over to the shuffle board table to sit down and cool off as this girl worked up a little sweat. Susan does not like to sweat as it just ruins ones makeup and I work so hard on it to look as cute as possible. Lynn and Jan showed up and joined us and now sense most of us were around the shuffle board table we moved all our stuff from the other tables up to where we were. I already had my purse up there as that is my biggest fear, losing my purse when I am out. Strange when I was first going out I was always so worried about forgetting my purse as I was not use to carrying it so I never let it out of my sight, now that I go out more I am way more use to having it so not so worried about forgetting it but I do tend to leave it on the table with the other purses and go off. I am just more comfortable with the group but really this is a bad habit and I need to be careful as at one point last night no one was at the table wear our stuff was between playing pool, shuffle board and ping pong. Anyone could have walked by and grabbed something off our table and possible none of us would have seen it.

I played a few more games of shuffle board, won a couple lost a couple but had a great time. It was strange to see Cassandra up playing shuffle board instead of pool as she is such a pool player. It was strange how many from our group and the GG’s that were there in general were wearing boots, I guess I made a good choice in footwear tonight and there were some really cute boots. Lisa, the GG’ we talked with last week was there again and came over and chatted with us for a little while. She is really nice and so friendly. As a matter of fact several GG’s stopped and chatted with us. I think what helped it the shuffle board table and the table we were sitting at was right by the bathrooms so anyone going to the bathrooms had to walk right by or should I say through our group. All it takes is to tell them how cute their boots are or compliment them on their outfit and most will stop and chat for a minute. Probably the funniest point of the night was when Brooke told a GG how cute her boots were and she stopped and talked to Brooke for a while. The guy she was with finally came up to see what was going on and she just told him it was okay they were just talking about shoes and purse. He smiled and walked away, I guess he didn’t want to get into that conversation.

It was a really fun night and again we closed the place down, that is two weeks in a row. As we left the wind was blowing and there was a rain sleet mix coming down and it was cold and even though I was heading home I was still worried about my hair and makeup so I held my hair so it wouldn’t get messed up and walked as fast as I co ld to my car. I am such a girl, when in boy mode this would have been no big deal. Any way it was a fabulous night out with all my great friends.

Not sure f I will make it out this week or not as the only nights I might be able to are Wednesday or Thursday and I still have Christmas shopping to do. If I do make it out I will of course post it to my blog, if not I would like to wish each and every one of you a merry and blessed Christmas.

Tuesday night out at Starbuck’s

Well this week it was Tuesday night I could make it out. I cannot believe how busy I have been the last few weeks. Christmas Is almost here and I have not even started my shopping. I guess this weekend I will have to get busy. I thought about going tonight but by the time I would have gotten to the mall I wouldn’t have had much time plus as Susan I would probably spend more time looking for me than others on my list. I guess I will have to do my shopping in boy mode so I can keep focused. Anyway I got to Starbucks right at 7 and their parking lot was pretty full but not as busy as I thought it would be about 10 people here. It again this week is raining really hard so roads are really wet so I chose to park at the end of the building, a little farther to walk but all covered so Susan won’t get her hair wet.

Last week was so fun as I went out three nights in a row and the last night at the Holiday gala was way too much fun. I was looking at some of the pictures others in the group took and they were so great. I guess the party went till after 3 and everyone had such a wonderful time. Kathy and Mandie did an awesome job and it is so wonderful that they and Cassandra and Peggy both open their houses to host these fun get together. I really hope they know how special they are. So many of us keep this side of our lives a secret and even though they try to keep a low profile they still do these parties.

Well Diva Las Vegas has posted their recommended hotels for 2011 event and for the first time the Sahara is not on their list. Now this does not mean you can’t stay there it is just not in their top 5. Cassandra, Peggy and I are going for sure again this coming year and we have talked about trying a different hotel even before they posted their list. We are thinking about the Gold Coast which is also not on their list but Cassandra and Peggy have stayed there before and really liked it. It is not on the strip but still close enough and sense we will have a car it should be fine. Come the first of the year I will have to do some more shopping for Susan for the trip. I am already looking forward to I even though it is still 3 months away. There are a couple girls in our group that are thinking of going this year and several girls in our group that would love to go but just can’t this year but they are planning on 2012. It looks like 2012 we could have a really good turn out from the Rose_City_T-Girls. It really is a fun vacation for Transgender people and we had so much fun last year. If you are looking for a good place to go, check out their web page http://www.geekbabe.com/dlv/ if you would like more information and be sure and check out the pictures from previous years.

Well it is still pretty quiet here but a few more people have come in. it is really kind of fun to just sit here and people watch while catching up on my e-mail and blog, so much better than just sitting at home. I will again be out Friday night but not sure where we will be going. There is talk of trying someplace new which would be fun. There is comfort in going to the same places but new experiences are always so much fun and help increase our group to more people helping to build tolerance. I really think that is what makes going out so much fun. Any way with the holidays coming up this will be my last Friday night out this year as I have family things going on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve I will be home in bed as I have to work New Years day early. Hope to get out during the week though if only to come here to Starbuck’s for a couple hours. There is just something about being Susan even if only for a couple hours. It is almost therapeutic for me.

Have a great rest of the week and thanks so much for reading my blog. Please feel free to ask questions if you like and I will do my best to answer them all.

Holiday Gala for our group

Well Saturday night was awesome. We had our holiday gala for our group the Rose_city_T-girls. Kathy and Mandie put it all together at their house with the help of Danielle how wonderful they are for doing this, you three rock.

I started getting ready for the party at 4:15 as I needed to leave my house by 6 to be there by 7 and I wanted to take a little more time getting ready to look my best, I am such a girl. I didn’t get a chance to go shopping for a new dress so I decided to wear my little black dress as it has been a while sense I wore it last and I like the way I look in it. I also really enjoy the getting ready and doing my makeup.

I got to the party just a few minutes before 7 and went in. they were collecting food for the Oregon food bank at the party which I thought was a wonderful idea. They put these parties on and don’t ask for anything to come, the amount of food and drinks they had must have cost a small fortune and I am sure everyone would be willing to throw in some money to help offset the cost. Any way they had so much food and it was all so delicious and I am sure I put on a few LB’s, really need to start exercising and watching what I eat more, guess that will be my New Year’s resolution.

There were so many people there I will not even try to name them all, some were new to the group and some I have not met before but I would guess we had 40 to 50 people at the party. I think I talked with everyone at the party at least for a bit as I really wanted to meet everyone. It was so much fun talking with everyone and getting to know everyone a little better. One of the t-girls brought her wife who had a birthday on December 12 so a little after midnight we all sang Happy Birthday to her.

Some of the girls had on such beautiful dressed and everyone looked so great. I think it made it nice to have a place we could all get dressed up for a night. We go out all the time but really don’t go anyplace we can get all dressed up. I think that is one of the most fun things about being Susan. Women are so lucky as they have all the pretty clothes and style. Teresa had on a beautiful long black dress so I had to get a picture with her as I also had a black dress, just such a cute picture.

It was so much fun to spend the evening with all my wonderful friends, we talked about everything from nails to makeup tips to how we got the names we have all chosen. Cassandra and I talked to several girls on how we do our nails using mounting tape we buy at Home depot, who would have ever thought you could get beauty supplies at Home Depot. I can just see that in their next commercial. The funny thing is most of use picked our names from someone we knew, a girlfriend or a girl we liked or thought was pretty but however we chose our feminine name the one great thing about being transgender is we all got to pick our names

It was amazing how fast the night went I stayed till 1:20 even though I planned on leaving no later than 1 as I had to be to work Sunday morning at 7 am but I was having such a wonderful time and Brooke called and was almost there so I stayed long enough for her to get there  so I could see here and her dress. We took lots of pictures. I have posted one on my Flicker page and the rest in my live profile (they have a lot more room for pictures).

I just want to give a big thanks to Kathy, Mandi and Danielle for a wonderful time. You three are awesome and we all are so grateful for all you did.

Friday night at the P-club

Well Friday night our group the Rose_City_T-Girls was meeting at the P-club (formerly called Portsmouth pizza and pub) on Lombard in Portland Oregon. We have been going here on and off on Fridays sense the summer and have so far had good experiences every time. one of the things I really like about the P-club is they have something for everyone, two pool tables, a ping pong table, shuffle board table, dancing and even some pinball machines which make it nice because when we have big groups there is still something for everyone to do and Friday night we had a huge group, probably the biggest I have seen out in a long time.

I got there at 7:30 and went in and they were not that busy which is nice because we can get tables by the pool tables so I sat down and it was only a matter of minutes before other girls started to show up. We immediately put two tables together for our group because we knew more were coming and we were right we added a third table and even that was not enough. Let see how well I do with remembering who all was there, Maya, Cristine, Michele, Brook, Cassandra, Chris, Bob, Mellissa, Catherine, Jamie, Sandy, Barb, Norma, Diane, and Amy. I know there was more but my mind is blank right now so sorry if I left your name out. It really was hard to keep track as we had more than could fit at our 3 tables and we were soon spread out across the club playing pool, ping pong and shuffle board. Yes this girl did play all three and in 4″heels, the ping pong was the hardest as you really can’t make fast moves in them.

Maya talked me into playing ping pong with her and she is really good at ping pong. We started off just hitting the ball back and forth for a while and then decided to play a game. The first game I did okay but ended up losing 21 to 13 so we played a second game and this game I came closer but still fell short 21 to 17 but it was a lot of fun. I know Maya took it easy on me which was nice and we had a fun time. Next I went down as it was my turn to play pool.

I played 4 games of pool won 3 in a row and then got to play Cassandra; she is probably our best pool player so she is the one everyone wants to beet. She can talk a really good game but can really back it up with her play. Anyway Chris and Cassandra made a bet who would win; I was the 2 to 1 underdog which is okay as I am not that good. I ended up losing but came close, we were both on the 8 ball and missed a couple times as neither of us wanted to leave a shot for the other if we missed. But it was a really good game.

After this I had to sit down for a while as my feet were sore from all the standing and moving around. This was nice as it gave me a chance to talk with some of the girls. Maya, Barb, Brook, Mellissa and I were at the one end of the table and we had a nice little conversation which I so enjoy. I really think just sitting around talking is so much fun and gives you a chance to really get to know others and what is going on in their lives. I really wish I had more time to talk with all the girls in the group but with such a big group doing so many things at once it is hard and I really don’t want to miss talking with any of my great friends. So if I missed talking to you please grab me the next time we are out so we can chat.

I got to talk just briefly with Jamie and Catherine when they came in but was playing pool at the time. It was great to chat with them both as I have met both before and they are so wonderful. I really hope they can come out some more with our group. Jamie brought her friend Sandy which was her first time out. It was really nice to meet her and did talk to her for a little bit. She seemed like she was having a really good time and I am sure she will be out again. Like I said we have such wonderful girls in this group.

Well it was time for shuffle board so several of us went up to play. We played teams and Diane and I were on the same team. We won the first game and lost the second game so we played a tie breaker and lost by 1 point. I did score two 5’s which is really hard because it is the corner of the board and almost impossible t5o get the puck to stop there. Now I must admit one of the 5’s was for the other team as I tried to knock one of theirs off and can you believe it, it stopped right on the corner. Mine landed on the 3 point but as the point always goes to the high score mine didn’t count so instead of my team getting three points we got nothing and the other team got 5, this was the game we lost by 1 point. I guess though I should count this as a win as I scored their points?

Any way by this time it was getting really late about 1:30 and our group was dwindling down. We were all getting tired and ready to call it a night and sure enough Cassandra found two cute GG’s to talk to, I don’t know how she does it but soon we were all over talking with them, after all who does not want to talk to cute girls even if they are half your age or more. Their names were Evie and Lisa and they were just wonderful. We sat and chatted with them for probably 30 minutes and told them all about us and our group. The thing they found most interesting was that some of our girls are married and that we are not all gay. I really think that is the common thought is that crossdressers are gay so it is so nice to be able to talk to them and explain about who we are. I really think once they understand who we are it helps remove any possible misunderstandings. It was a fun night and of course I had to get a picture with them. From left to right is Diane, Evie, Susan & Lisa. They were awesome to talk too.

Well by this time it was after 2 and they were closing up so we all paid our tabs, the bar tenders know most of us by name how cool is that and all headed for home. It was about 2:45 when I finally got home, what a fun and late night. Well tonight (Saturday) is our Christmas party and as I got up really late I am not going out shopping for a new dress so I guess it will be my short black dress tonight. It should be so much fun and I will have more pictures for sure.

Thanks for reading and have a wonderful day.

Really wet Thursday night out at Starbucks

Well this week it was Thursday night I was able to get out, my schedule is so messed up right now. I got off work late so had to rush as I always like to get to Starbucks by 7 that way I have two hours. It was so dark and rainy out everyone is driving slower which is good. As I left my home my new neighbor was just getting home so I would have to drive right by her, luckily she had her hood up because of the rain and was also talking on her cell phone so I don’t think she paid any attention to me. I got to Starbuck just a little after 7 and found a parking spot right in front which was nice as Susan does not like to get wet. It messes up the hair and makeup.

I got inside and they were packed only one table left in the back and it was by a power outlet so I took it and got my computer all plugged in before going up and ordering my drink, something warm will taste so good tonight. I only had to stand in line for a few minutes and I wondered if the people ahead of me would be mad I took the last table before ordering but they got there drinks and left.

Wow I am going to pack a lot into this week as I will also be out tomorrow for my normal Friday night out with my friends but also on Saturday as a couple of the girls in the group are having a Christmas party on Saturday night and I have arranged to get it off so I can go. I will have to be to work early Sunday morning so I won’t be able to stay out to late although that plan never works. I am sure I will stay out way to late and be tired all day Sunday but I can do that every once in a while.

Friday night our group will be back at the P-Club in Portland as it is a really nice place and has lots to do, pool, ping pong, shuffle board and dancing. It has been one of our regular places to go, the other Easy Street has been bought by someone and they plan on changing it to more of a restaurant so I am guessing we won’t be going there anymore which is a shame. All the girls who worked there were so awesome and Jodie the lady who ran it was great. They treated us so wonderful. Hopefully they will find jobs and maybe we will run into them again.

The party Saturday night should be so much fun; I am not sure what I will wear yet. I am thinking of either my short black cocktail dress or maybe going out Saturday and see if I can find a new dress. Not sure about that as I really don’t want to deal with the crowds that will be out shopping on the weekend. I guess I could also wear my black long formal dress I bought for the T-girl pageant I was in last spring but I so like the short dress. Any way I have a couple days to think about it.

Well it is still busy here at Starbuck as I think people are just looking for a dry warm place to hang out. Starbuck’s really is a fun place and it really has a relaxed atmosphere which makes it a great place to be. It is so much better than just sitting at home on the computer.

Well I need to get to my e-mails so I will end it here, I will post more this weekend about Friday night and the party and hopefully will have some good pictures.

Thanks to all you who read my blog, I really never thought I would have people reading this as it was more just for me to keep a record of my time as Susan.

Friday night out at Harvey’s Comedy Club

Well it was another fabulous night out with my friends Friday night. Cassandra had got 16 tickets to go see the 10 pm show at Harvey’s comedy club here in Portland and offered them up to members of our group the Roce_City_T-Girls, how great is that of her. We have done this 4 or 5 times now and it is always so much fun. The plan was to meet at Casey’s by 8 in Portland as it was easier to find and better parking there and then walk the 7 blocks down to Harvey’s.

I was running late and didn’t get downtown till after 8 and at that time of night it is hard to find parking so after circling the block 3 times I just went and parked in the parking lot across from Embers and paid the $6. It was only a block walk from there to Casey’s so it was worth the money. I put on my coat (I hate driving with a coat on) that I bought a couple weeks ago as I needed a warmer coat for winter. I accidently found it when I was dropping stuff off at goodwill for my yearend tax donation. It really isn’t that cute but it is warm and a woman’s coat and was only $10 so I figured what the heck.

When I got to Casey’s Cassandra, Cristine, Maya, Melissa, Bob & Julie were already there. We had some drinks and talked while waiting for the rest of our group. About 8:30 Barb and Brooke showed. At 8:45 we all walked down to Harvey’s as we could pick up our tickets between 8:45 and 9:30. It was a little cold out and I was glad I had my coat. We got out tickets and went into the bar to wait for the show to start. Harvey’s is a really fun place to go and they have always treated us great when we have been there. If you are ever in Portland and want to see a good comedy show you must check them out, 436 NW 6th Ave, Portland Oregon 97209 (503) 241-0338.

They started letting people into the showroom about 9:45 and we got our tables next to each other which is always nice and Harvey’s is pretty good about seating groups together. We all ordered our drinks and Brooke and I split an order of food as I am trying to watch my weight, really I had eaten earlier and wasn’t that hungry. There food and drinks are really good but a little over priced but then you are getting a show so it really is a good deal. The show was really good but then I have not been there when they have not had a good show. The show went about an hour and a half but seemed like it was much faster.

After the show a couple cute girls came over and wanted to know if they could get a picture with us. It was so funny as at first they were a little uneasy about asking not knowing how we would react. It was funny because as fast as we could say yes we all had our own cameras out faster so we could also get pictures. I bet between all of us there were 100 pictures taken, after all who does not want their picture taken especially with some cute girls. I am includes a few of the pictures in my blog. These girls were just so awesome and friendly and of course had lots of questions which is always fun. The one said her and her friends thought some of us were really passable including myself, what a great compliment. The funniest part was when she told Lynn that she was totally passable, we all laughed and then told her Lynn was Jan’s wife and was truly a female. That is really what started the questions as they didn’t realize that most crossdressers are heterosexual and some are even married. We must have sat there 10 or 15 minutes talking with them and they still thought we were just great. Cassandra and I each gave them our e-mail addresses in case they have more questions, or just want to get to know us and the group better. It is so nice to really talk to people about crossdressing as I think it helps bridge the gap between people and build a better understanding. Cassandra is so awesome at this as she can walk up to anyone and just start talking, and I am trying to get better. Maybe someday I will be more like Cassandra this way.

We left Harvey’s about 11:45 and went down to the Fox & hound to talk as none of us really wanted to go home yet. We stayed here till about 1:30 before calling it a night. It was truly a fun night for all of us. A big thanks to Cassandra for once again getting us tickets. This week I again won’t make it out Wednesday but at this point am planning on Thursday night probably at Starbuck’s. I will post then.

Have a great week everyone.

Wow tried putting pictures right into my blog and had all kinds of trouble as it kept changing the formt. I had to delete the blog 4 times to get it right. sorry to those who subscribe as I think you may have gotten this 4 time. I have learned now and shouldn’t make the same mistakes next time.
