My life as a heterosexual crossdresser.

Friday night with friends

Well another long busy week has come to an end and what better way to start the weekend then spending time with my friends. I really look forward to my Susan time as I find it so enjoyable and relaxing and a great way to get away from the everyday issues that my male side faces. It all starts with my time getting ready, yes I even enjoy this time as I find it relaxing. I guess the fun of doing my makeup has not gone away.

I got to Sweet Home a little before 7 and the parking lot was full even the street was full and I had to go up the street about 15 cars which is the farthest I have had to park away but luck would be on my side as I was just parking I saw another car pull out that had parked right by their drive so I moved up to that spot. I knew Cassandra would be there early as she sent out a text and of course so would Chris. I got inside and Cassandra, Chris, Cristine and Kim were already there. It was great to see Kim there so early which started my night off great right from the start. This was going to be a good night as I got to sit next to Kim and we could chat. Roxy got here a little later tonight as she doesn’t have to work as early Saturday and wanted to stay out later so she could hear Chris Sing Karaoke.

It wasn’t long and other girls started to show up, Amy, Kelli, Sasha, & Laura so I knew we would have a good turn out tonight, actually the last few Friday nights have been really good. Sweet Home was actually pretty busy for as early as it was which is good for their business. It was funny as about 8 about 6 girls left to go to Tiger Lilies for dancing and as they went out the side door about 6 more girls came in the front door at the same time so we just exchanged girls. Michelle, Jan, Lynn, Guinn, Victoria, Petra, & Jennifer all came in.

It was great to see Victoria out, she just got back from Thailand a few weeks back and although she came out a couple weeks ago only stayed for a little bit that night tonight she stayed most of the night which gave us all a chance to talk with her and find out how things are going. She looks and sounds like she is doing well which is good.

We even had a new girl named Rene who made it with her friend Sharla; Boy I hope I got her name right. Rene lives in Southern Oregon and was in town for the week and thought she would join us. She actually read about Sweet Home and our group going there Friday nights in my blog. It is always nice to meet new people but still a little strange when they have been reading my blog as they seem to know about me while I am trying to learn about them which is something I am still getting use too. Now our group was big tonight and I know I missed some names but I would bet we had over 20 there and as such we had our 2 normal tables, some were at the bar, playing pool and also the open table in the corner so with us spread out so much it was hard to get a good count.

Well it was after 9 and Kim was tired as she had a really busy week so she was going to leave and I walked her out to her car. It is funny as this seemed like such a natural thing, a boyfriend walking his girlfriend out and I never even thought about the fact I was Susan tonight and wearing a dress and heels. I guess I am just really comfortable even as Susan that sometimes I don’t even think about it. Anyway we talked for a bit about getting together this week for a movie before saying goodnight. It was on the way back in as I heard my heels on the pavement that I thought about the fact it was Susan who had walked her out.

Back inside I went over to where Rene & Sharla were sitting and talked with them for a while as I wanted to get to know them. Rene is married and her family and friends know about both sides of her and support her which is so awesome. Sharla is her friend who lives in the Portland area and is supportive of her also so she came out with her for the night. Both of them are really nice and we talked for probably 30 minutes. Meeting new people really is fun.

Well it was time for karaoke to start and of course Chris sang for Roxy and also Lynn sang. They are the brave ones in our group and sing every week. Of course we also talked with some of the regulars from the bar as we really do have good interaction with everyone there. Heather from the Karaoke group is just so awesome always comes over and talks with us as does Kelsey and her fiancée. It really is a friendly place to be on a Friday night.

A couple guys that I think Heather knows wanted a picture with us and you know how I and most t-girls feel about having our picture taken, we couldn’t get up fast enough. About 15 of us crowded around them for pictures but again I never thought to get my camera out, another blonde moment on my part.

It was a really fun night and I think it was about 1:20 when we called it a night. Always sad to see the night come to an end. W

Thanks for reading and have a wonderful weekend.

Dinner with friends

Well Chris had invited Kim and me over for dinner and a movie at his house with him and Roxy. This is another new experience for Susan and I have been looking forward to it all week long. Now I was going to pick Kim up at 6:30 so we could be to Chris’s by 7 so I started getting ready about 4 so I would have time to make sure I looked pretty even though we were just having dinner at his home. This is so funny as my male side would never have cared about this but as Susan I wanted to look good not just for Susan but also for Kim.

I left home and drove over to pick Kim up and then we were off to Chris’s home. We got to Chris’s home right on time, Roxy had to work and still wasn’t there yet as she had to go home first and change. Chris was cooking dinner for us which was nice of him, turns out Chris likes to cook and is very good at it. We had a snack and talked while we waited for Roxy, actually Chris was preparing dinner also. We also watched some TV, Chris had recorded some shows off Comedy central that were so funny and I can’t remember the name of them.

Roxy finally showed up and dinner was almost ready but we still had a little time to talk while Chris was busy in the kitchen. Well it was time to eat and Chris had done a great job. He made Fettuccini and some seafood stuffed pasta that was awesome. I had two helpings as it was so good. The movie we watched was the Amazing Spider Man which was really good. It was just a fun night all together; Chris even made Pineapple upside down cake from scratch. I want to Thank Chris for cooking dinner and inviting us over, just a really good time.

Well as all things it got late and time for Kim and I to leave. I drove Kim home and was sad to see our date night end. It was so nice to just spend a regular evening doing something so many couples do, dinner with friends.

Friday nights with my friends

Well another week has come and gone and it is Friday night and time for Susan to get ready to go out with her friends. Now I know what is on everyone’s mind and that is my date with Kim on Valentines evening. Well I hate to disappoint but there will not be a blog about that as this blog is about Susan and her life out and last night it was my male side that had the date as I wanted to introduce Kim to him as he is a big part of my life and who I am also. All I will say is it was the best Valentine’s Day I have had, male or female and I am sure both my male side and Susan will have more dates with Kim. Well onto tonight.

Well getting ready was a bit more of a challenge tonight mainly picking out an outfit to wear. Not sure if others go through this but I just couldn’t decide on an outfit as my wardrobe is actually pretty limited and it seems like I wear the same things over and over again. I really do need to go out shopping and buy some new dresses, actually I need some more casual outfits too as Diva Las Vegas is coming up fast less than 2 months away so that is my goal more shopping. Maybe that should have been my New Year’s resolution.

Well any way I finally settled on my blue and black dress which really is cute and I was ready to leave. I got to Sweet Home just a little after 7 and Chris, Roxy and Cassandra were already there. We sat and talked and of course I ordered dinner, tonight they had their Sirloin steak dinner special which is awesome so that is what I had.

Well as always it wasn’t long and others started to show up and I could tell we would have a good night. Now here is this poor blondes attempt at remembering who all was there and I am sure I will miss some so I apologize right now as some come early and leave and other later on. Amy, Kellie, Kelley, Diane, Cristine, Jan, Lynn, Michelle, Rose, Jennifer, Sasha, Guinn, Laura, Tracy, and two new girls that for the life of me I can’t remember their names and I think maybe one or two more I missed so we had a really good turnout.

It was cool to see Jennifer out as she has not been able to come out for a while and it was fun to talk with her and find out how things are going. Actually it is fun to talk with all the girls and just hang out and of course the most important part is being with friends. I really don’t care what we do or where we go as long as I have friends there to spend time with.

Well as it got later more people came in, the Karaoke group usually starts to show up around 9 or so as they don’t start Karaoke till between 10 and 10:30 so till than the place is not that crowded but once they show up the place gets really busy and that is when it gets really fun. Karaoke is always fun and I really do enjoy it. Still have not worked up the courage to sing by myself but I am willing to sing with someone else. Tonight Michelle wanted to sine YMCA and I told her I would go up and ding with her and do the arm moves for YMCA, yes I am old enough to remember this, don’t do the math. It was so much fun and by the end we had almost everyone doing the song. Chris got up a few times and sang as he always does and is really good.

We had a really good time. I talked with Chris and Roxy some about Saturday night, yes Kim and I (Susan) have another date, and we are going over to Chris’s for dinner and a movie which will be fun. It will be just the 4 of us for a couple’s night which should be a lot of fun oh and yes Kim and I are a couple now. This leads me into a new issue as I blog about my life and journey as Susan how do I deal with Susan time with Kim? I don’t want Kim to feel that everything we do, say or where we go will wind up in my blog for everyone to read and I would never do that as there are things that should be private but I also want to be able to record Susan’s journey. This is something Kim and I will have to decide on and I know I can make posts that are private that only I can see which is a cool function of WordPress. I will have to talk with Kim about this.

Well it was getting late and people started to leave. I was really getting tired as it was an early morning for my male self and a long busy day. I really should have left earlier but as Susan I really like my time out and always have a hard time leaving which is why I usually don’t go out with the group midweek as I would stay out too late and Susan needs her beauty sleep. Actually most of our group stayed out later than normal and when we left at yes 2:40 we still had Cassandra, Kelley, Kellie, Amy and me there, I think this is the first time I can remember there have been 5 of us close down a place

Well thanks for reading; I have to get some things done now before I get start getting ready for my date tonight. I need a little extra time as Susan wants to look beautiful for Kim.

Saturday night at Harvey’s

Well it is Saturday night and time for our monthly outing to Harvey’s Comedy Club. I look forward to this all month long as it is so much fun. Laughter really is the best medicine and there is nothing better than spending a couple hours laughing with friends. I started getting ready early as I wanted to make sure I looked really good. Susan likes to look pretty but now I seem to want to make sure I look as perfect as I can. I was all ready by 6:30 and ready to leave and one last look in the mirror and I had a small smudge in my makeup so I quickly fixed it before leaving.

Now we always meet at Fox & Hound between 7 & 8 as we don’t need to be to Harvey’s till 9 and so I got down town about 7:15 and found a parking spot a couple blocks away. I got to Fox & Hound and Cassandra, Michelle, Amy, Kellie, Julie, & Trixie were already there which is pretty good for this early. It wasn’t long and more started to show up, Barb, Michelle, Julie, Michelle, Amber and Kim. I was glad Kim could make it tonight and she had on some really cute heels and looked great. Yes tonight we had 3 Michelle’s and 2 Julies for Harvey’s. About 8:30 it was time to leave as we had a 7 block walk to Harvey’s so all 13 of us walked out and started walking up the street towards Harvey’s.

We got to Harvey’s and Cristine Jan, Lynn and a couple other girls from our group were already there and they were really busy. There was only one table open over in the corner so Michelle, Kim and I went over so we could sit down while we waited for the early show to get over. This was great as it gave us a chance to talk and of course we had to get a couple pictures. This is Kim and me before the show, don’t we make a cute couple.

Well soon it was time to go into the show room and as we were way in the back we were the last to go in but that is okay as our regular Waitress Kim who is awesome had our tables already. Cassandra texts her with how many are coming and she reserves tables for us how cool is that. We had 20 of us there so we had 5 tables. Julie, Trixie, Kim and I sat at the same table. Kim and I ordered some Nachos to share during the show.

The show started and all the comedians were good tonight, I can’t remember all their names but the headliner was Steve White and he was awesome. We laughed so hard all night long. Harvey’s really is a fun night and tonight was just that much more special. After the show Kim our waitress came over and sat down with us for a while and chatted with us. On our way out we stopped and talked to the comedians as we always do. It was almost midnight as we left to walk back to Fox & Hound where we had parked and Kim and I talked the whole way.

Kim had parked a few more blocks away so I gave her a ride to her car and we talked some more. We are going to get together again This Thursday and Kim wants to meet my male side. I am really excited about this as I love spending time with Kim but also scared as this will be the first time she has met me in as my male self. I think this is the hardest party for me being a crossdresser as I have kept half my life a secret from my friends and people I really care about. So on Thursday my girlfriend will meet my alter ego of course there will be no pictures that Susan can post from that date.

Thanks for reading.

Friday night out with my friends

Well it is Friday night and another week has come and gone and what a wonderful week it was. I so look forward to Fridays and spending time with my friends as it is such a wonderful way to start the weekend. I started getting ready and tonight just seemed so much more fun as I guess having a great week always puts you in a good mood.

I took a little extra time getting ready as I really wanted to look perfect tonight, I mean I always want to look my best but tonight well it was just more important as I knew Kim would be there. I was all ready and makeup look as close to perfect as I was going to get it so off I went. I got to Sweet Home and there was a parking spot bright in front and went in. Chris was the only one there so far so I joined him. It wasn’t long and Roxy showed up. Roxy is there early as she can’t stay out late as she has to work early on Saturday which I totally understand, I don’t stay out late during the week for the same reason.

It really wasn’t long and others started to show up, Cassandra, Amy and Kelli, this was the first time I have met Kelli and she seems really nice. She is a GG that Amy knows and she brought her out tonight. I got a chance to talk with Kelli for a while and get to know her, I think this is what is great about going out is you can meet new people.

Well it was time for dinner as I was hungry so I ordered their special, they really do have good food here. Other girls started to show up and I knew we would have another good turnout. Kim showed up and it was great to see her and the funny thing is the first thing that popped in my mind was how do I look and the fact I had just put food in my mouth. Well there was a seat between Roxy and me so Kim sat there which was nice. It was going to be a great night. Chris, Roxy, Kim and I sat there and talked and had a great time.

Guinn, Kimberly, Sasha, Cristine, Bobbi, Petra, Michelle, Tweeny and a few others I can’t remember showed up. Several came over and commented on my blog of just a couple hours earlier about Susan’s first date which surprised me. I knew some of the group read my blog but it has been less than 4 hours since I posted it.

Victoria also made it out tonight; she just got back from Thailand earlier in the week so we have not seen her in over a month. It was great to talk with her and hear about her trip and find out how she is doing. She looks awesome and so happy now. I think that is what makes our group so awesome is we are very diverse, we have admirers, supporter, wives, girlfriends, and we range from the fully transitioned transsexual all the way to the part time crossdresser and everywhere in between. We all have different needs and wants in life but we are all accepting and supportive of each other. Welcome back Victoria we are all glad you are back home safe.

There was also another group here tonight doing a surprise birthday for a lady so it was crowded tonight. The group seemed fine with us and a couple came over and talked to us, they all wanted us to help them yell Happy Birthday when his wife came in which of course we were happy to do. It was a fun night

Well it was time for Karaoke and of course Chris sang as always. Tweeny went up and put her name in to sing and when it was her turn she took Cassandra, Kim and me up with her to sing. The song was “Sitting on the dock of the bay” which I actually know all the words to so yes I did get up and sing. It was a lot of fun and I can get up the courage to sing with someone else but not by myself. Even Heather came up with us and sang. She is part of the Karaoke group and she is like me, she might sing with others but not by herself.

It was an awesome night we even had a couple new girls show up, I think I might have met them once before but I am Blonde and getting older. They joined Chris, Kim and me and we all talked. It was good to get to know them and one of them even sang a couple times. It was just a really fun night. It started to get late and soon it was down to just Cassandra, Michelle, tweeny, Kim and me. I got a chance to talk more with Kim which was nice and by now everyone that was there knew we had gone out on a date last night, good new travels fast.

Well it was after 1 and so I went up and paid my bill. Kim and I walked out together and as she had parked up the street and I was right in front of the door I gave her a ride up to her car. We talked for a moment and discussed when she will meet my male side which I am just a little nervous about but it will be so much easier to introduce her to him than if it was the other way around and I had to introduce her to Susan. It was sad to see the night come to an end but I will see her again Saturday night as we are both going to Harvey’s Comedy club with the group. Just have to figure out what to wear.

What an awesome night it was. Thanks for reading.

Susan’s first date

Well Thursday night was a big night for me, I was going on what I hoped would be Susan’s first date. I have known Kim for a while now and I have even had her over to my house once to watch a movie which is something Susan has never done before but tonight we were going out to dinner. Kim was going to meet me at my house and then we would go out to dinner and then back and watch a movie which seems simple enough but by Tuesday night I was really starting to get nervous. It is always hard of the first date but when you throw in being a crossdresser wow all the things that go through your mind. Now Kim knows I am a crossdresser and she is fine with it but on the other hand she only knows me as Susan, she has never even seen a picture of my male self. So now my mind is going back and forth between whom should I be on our date, Susan or my male half, who is she expecting? I know she like Susan but what about my male self will she like him when she meets him? How should I dress for the date, I actually went through 5 outfits before I decided on the one I wore. Man it is tough being a girl.

The other thing was the restaurant we were going to is not that far from where I live and is at the mall. Now I have always avoided going to places so close to where I live for fear of running into someone I know, I would say about 70% of the time when I go to this mall I see at least one person I know so this was something else that made me nervous. I actually drove over to the malls on Wednesday night to scout out the restaurant and see how parking was, which is something I have not done in many years.

Well when I got home Thursday that is when I made the final decision that it would be Susan that went out on the date with Kim and so I started getting ready. I felt like a high school girl or At least what I would imagine a high school girl going through. I took extra time today getting ready as I really wanted to look pretty for our date and yes you guessed it I changed my mind yet again on the outfit I was going to wear. Well I was all ready by 4:30 and now I just had to wait for Kim to Arrive. Now this was probably the time I got the most nervous as I waited I started wondering if I looked okay, should I have been my male self, what if she is not thinking of this as a date, how do I act remember Susan has never been on a date and for that matter it has been a long time since my male self has had a date. I had butterflies the size of hawks in my stomach.

Well Kim arrived and looked beautiful as always and the funny thing is once she got there I forgot about being nervous. We talked for a few minutes and then we were off to the restaurant, we were going to Outback Steak House. We took my car which was nice as I park in the garage but I wondered what my neighbors would think. I know a couple of them know about Susan but they have always seen me leave alone tonight I had Kim with me and it was still light out when we left but again I really wasn’t worried about that.

We got to the restaurant and went in; there were a couple people ahead of us so we only had to wait a couple minutes before we were seated. Once we ordered dinner we really started talking which was nice as we got to know each other better. Kim admitted she had been a little nervous too as she was not sure who would meet her tonight, Susan or my male self. I think being Susan tonight made it easier for both of us as we already know each other that way. We had a great time and it is amazing how fast the time went by, we finished our dinner and kept talking and before I knew it, it was 7 pm, we had been there almost an 1 ½ hours. Well we left the Outback and headed back to my house to watch a movie talking the whole time. The funny part is I really didn’t think about the fact I was dressed as Susan while we were out, my mind was focused on Kim.

Well back at my house we decided to watch a comedy and we chose Opportunity knocks which is a really funny movie if you get the chance to see it and it. I had a great time and even the movie went by so fast but as normal all good things must come to an end. I really wanted to walk Kim out to her car but as it was not that late I just couldn’t get up the courage to walk her out as Susan. It really was an awesome first date and I hope the first of many to come. Kim really is awesome and is totally okay with T-girls and the fact I like to dress. What a wonderful night.

Tips for beautiful nails

Well this has been a blog I have wanted to write for a while and am just now getting around to it. If you have red my blogs you know I love long pretty nails. I think that is the one thing I would do full time if men could have pretty nails. As such I have tried many things to do my nails from painting them, acrylics which I love, glue on but finding something you can do quickly and lasts and you can take off as easily as they go on and better yet reuse them without damaging your nails is hard. I would love to take credit for this but it was actually Barb who came up with this idea and shared with Cassandra who passed on to me and now I share it with all of you. Now I will admit the most expensive part of this is the nail polish as I love OPI but any polish will do. This is what you need,

Nail polish, one clear and the color of your choice (I like OPI) $8 each

Artificial nails they need to be full nails not the tips, I like KISS brand Active Square 200 count as I can get 10 sets out of it. Under $7

Scott’s outdoor mounting tape (it is water proof), I buy at Home Depot, about $15 for over 400 inches.

I also get some mounting putty (under $2) and a piece of wood (under $2).

Now there are two options, you can use the nails as they are or you can put some of the nail glue on the underside and let dry, to do this just spread out on some paper towels. The reason for the glue is it makes them a little stronger. The nails usually will split up the middle from the cuticle end from reuse. Now I have got anywhere from 10 to 30 uses from the nails without the glue depending on how careful you are taking them off. With the glue you should easily last longer but they sit a little higher on the nail so I would try both ways and see what you like.

Now the trick I use is to mount the nails on the edges of the wood using the mounting putty, I can get 2 sets of 10 on each edge and if I prop up on blocks I can use all 4 edges so I can actually do 8 sets of nails at one time, for this I only did 4 sets.

I put the clear coat on and by the time I get all the nails done the first am dry and ready for the color and I repeat just going around, 2 coats of color and then the clear coat again. This is the slowest part but you can do a lot of nails in one shot and then you are good for awhile. You can also do several colors at once and have a variety of choices.

Let the nails dry and then you are ready to go. I can put on a set in under 5 minutes and if I want I can remove and put another color on in about the same time so you can change your nails

When you are ready you just put the mounting tape on the nails and you are ready to go. I use small pieces as I think they fit better plus the mounting tape really does hold the nails secure. I put the tape on all the nails first. Make sure and press them onto the nail so they stick well.

Then I use tweezers and peel off the tape and place them on my nail, squeeze the nail onto your finger nail and hold for a few seconds to make sure they are secure.

There you have it pretty beautiful nails for the day or evening look. They look great and stay on really well. I have even left on for a weekend and took a bath and shower and the nails held fast.

Now to take of you want to put a little pressure on the tip and take an cuticle orange stick under the back and gently lift up. If you do this carefully you can do it without damaging the nails and get many uses out of them. Once the nail is off, use the cuticle orange stick and scrape the tape off the back and you are ready for the next time.

Super Bowl party 2013

Well it is Super Bowl Sunday and even though I am not much of a football fan I couldn’t pass up a chance to go to a party. Susan loves to get out. Again this would mean leaving my house early as the party started at noon but Susan would be fashionably late. I got all ready and chose my white skirt and black top. It really is a cute outfit and of course my heels. I even painted my toe nails Saturday night as they really needed it so now they are all pretty again. I was out the door and on m way, I got to Cassandra and Peggy’s home about 1:30. Cassandra and Peggy not only host our Halloween party but also Super Bowl, how awesome is that, that they open there home every year for us all to enjoy a fun day. Being a little later I had to park up the street and walk down, can’t help wondering what their neighbors think as they have to notice all these tall woman going to their home.

There were already about 20 people there when I got there, they were playing Jenga and eating food, so much food and it was all good. It was so much fun to see everyone and talk with them. With my plate full I had to find a place to sit as I knew I didn’t want to be standing all day in my heels or they would come off. I found Peggy at the table so I joined her as did Kimberly and another girl and we just sat there and talked which was a nice way to pass the time.

Well the game started and we just kept on talking, again I am not much of a football fan but we could hear them in the other room cheering and screaming so we knew when things were happening. Well time went fast and soon it was time for the half time show and of course we did not want to miss that so we all moved into the other room which meant we had to sit on the floor. Now there is no graceful way to get down and sit on the floor at least not for this girl especially in a short skirt and high heels but I managed to do it in some sort of lady like way. Here I am on the floor watching the half time show; Kim was nice enough to let me lean against her legs. Actually I only had to sit there for a short while as people would move around and soon a spot opened on the couch next to Kim which I took and I found out getting up from the floor was just as much of a challenge.

Well I actually watched the second half of the game and it was pretty good at least once they got the lights back on and could play again. Plus they had some really great commercials. It was fun and I got a chance to talk with Kim some more turns out she knows more about football than I do of course I think most people do.

It was a really fun time and what made it great were the awesome people there. I am not sure how many but I would guess we had 30 to 40 there, now I did make one little goof as I should have looked back at last year’s pictures. Turns out I wore the same outfit this year as I did last year, yes I had different heels and wig so I wasn’t totally the same but wow I hope no one else noticed this. Any way this is last year’s picture so just imagine me with my other heels and my shorter wing and well you got it. Oh I did have on a different color lipstick and nail polish also.

It was a really fun night. I want to thank Cassandra and Peggy for all they did and everyone who brought wonderful food. I ate too much and now I really need to cut back. I hope everyone had an awesome day.

Thanks for reading

Friday night with friends

Well it is Friday again and time for Susan to come out for the night and have fun. My time as Susan is always a great way to end a long week and start a relaxing weekend, kind of my way of putting everything behind me for a few days besides I look forward to it all week long. It all starts with getting ready, a shower and doing my makeup and I can just feel the stress of the week melt away as a calm and relaxing feeling come over me. It is really hard to explain and even I don’t really understand how doing these simple things that more than half the population does can relax me so much but hey I enjoy it and that is what counts. Well I spent about an hour and a half getting ready enjoying every moment so by the time I left I had forgot all about the week before and any issues my male self may have had.

I got to Sweet Home and as I got out of my car Laura was walking by so we went in together. Cassandra, Chris, Roxy, Amy and Samantha were already there so we already had a pretty good group for as early as it was. I ordered dinner and then we sat and talked for a while. It is funny as my female self so enjoys a good conversation and it can be about anything. It wasn’t long and more of our group showed up, Criostine, Bobby, Sasha, Lynn, Guinn, Michelle and Michelle yes we have many Michelle’s in our group so I may have to learn their last name but that may be more than this poor blonde can handle.

Tracy showed up, she is new to our group and although she has been out a couple times, this was her first really outing to such a public, regular place so we were all glad to see she made it. We all know how hard that first time out is as we have all been there before and actually we would have another girl tonight on her very first time out. Well we all introduced ourselves and welcomed her. I got to talk with her and get to know her a little and she seems really nice.

Well as I said I had a friend named Marci I met online and we have exchanged e-mails on and off for about a year and she was in town this weekend for business and planed on coming out. She has never been out before so she had made an appointment with Victoria Sinclair who runs over the rainbow transformations here in Portland for 6 pm. Victoria does male to female transformations and she is so awesome, she will make you feel right at home, so if you are ever in the area and looking for help check her out. I gave her my number and told her to text me when she got there and I would go out and meet her so she didn’t have to walk in alone as that first step out is the hardest. Well she finally got there and texted me so I went out and she was already getting out of her car. It was so nice to finally meet her in person. We went back inside and I introduced her around the group. She seemed way more calm than I did my first time out, she also looked great.

It is really fun when we have new people out as it reminds us of our first time out, one of the draw backs of going out so much for me is I have become so use to it, it is such a part of me that I really don’t think about it anymore. Don’t get me wrong I so enjoy it but the excitement, fear, joy of going out is not the same so when we have new people who are experiencing it for their first time it helps me relive those feelings. If Marci was scared or nervous she didn’t show it but every time I saw her she had a smile on her face and you could see how happy she was especially when these 2 GG’s started talking to her. They really took a liking to her and kept coming over and talking with her and that is such a wonderful feeling. I think Marci talked with most of our group as did Tracy and I hope they both felt welcome.

Kim showed up late as she had family things she had to do earlier but as long as she made it that is what counts. She is so awesome and so supportive of our group; she is actually our group’s member of the month. Our group recognizes members who go out a lot or are really active in the group for one thing or another and they get there picture on our groups main page for the month. Any way it was great to see her and talk with her.

Well it was time for Karaoke and this week 5 of our group got up and sang, Chris, Kim, Sasha, Lynn and Michelle, we have some real talent in our group. It is fun to watch the people doing Karaoke as they have so much fun. I have sung a couple times with other people but not on my own yet, still working up the courage for that. Maybe someday as I think it would be fun once you get past the terror.

The really cool part of Sweet Home is the interaction we have with the other customers there, as I said last week when we did Rocky Horror picture show about 12 of their group met us for the show which is awesome. We have made some good friends here and they come over and talk with us, Heather, Kelsey, Blue, Corrine, Jessica, Michelle, yes even their group has a Michelle, I guess you can’t tell the players without a score card. I look forward to seeing them as much as I do our own group so if you are looking for a friendly place to go Sweet Home is the place.

Well it started to get late and people started to leave which is always sad as it means the evening is coming to an end. I talked more with Tracy before she left and I am sure she will be out more. Also got some more time with Marci, she is really nice and such a shame she lives so far away as I am sure she would love to come out more with our group but I think she gets to Portland once a year or so, so I am hopeful I will see her again, who knows maybe she will go to Diva Las Vegas sometime as that is kind of meeting half way. Either way we all made some new friends tonight and that is what counts.

It was a really fun night and again Cassandra and I were the last to leave but this week it was not as late as last week, I think it was about 1:30. What an awesome night as when we left Kelsey, Corrine and Heather all gave us hugs and said goodbye. I think that is one of the best things about Susan and being female as females are so much more free to give hugs. I think hugs are awesome and makes you feel loved, I think everyone needs more hugs in their lives, think how much better this world would be if we all just hugged a few more people.

Thanks for reading and here is a big hug to all of you my firneds.
