Awesome Friday night with Friends.

Well after missing last Friday night out with my friends I was really looking forward to tonight. Friends are so important in one’s life and after a long hard week at work what could be better than spending a fun night out we the people important in your life. Well I started getting ready and it was sunny out but by the time I was finishing it was dark and I could hear thunder and see the lightning which I really do love, just something about a good storm this girl likes. Well I pulled out of my garage and it was raining so hard I knew I didn’t have to worry about any of my neighbors being out and even if they were they would never see me through the rain. Going down the free way cars were only going about 30 and trust me that was plenty fast for the weather. About half way to the P-Club I ran out of the rain, funny as behind me it was dark and in front was sunny but I could still see the flashes of lightning behind me and hear the thunder and it was going the same way I was.

I got to the P-Club and found a parking spot right in front, love my small car. It was not raining yet so I got out and went inside and walked over to where Cassandra, Chris and Robyn were seated. As I said hi to them we saw a big flash of lightning outside and herd the thunder which was so loud it rattled the window so everyone in the club looked outside and that is when the bottom fell out. It started to rain so hard you couldn’t really see across the street and we are literally talking a minute after I got out of my car, this girl got lucky because as hard as it was raining the 15 feet I walked between my car and the door I would have been soaked. It was cool though as we were inside and could watch it all through the windows. The heavy rain lasted maybe 20 minutes before it let up.

Victoria, Diane and Christy showed up after the rain eased. It was great to see Diane, she was in town for work and didn’t let any of us know so she just showed up and surprised us all. She is a lot of fun to hang out with. Well Chris had his tablet and pulled up our group page (Rose_city_t-girls) as Cassandra had made a new folder called memorable moments and went back through all the pictures in our group and picked out some of the more interesting pictures, about 100 of them. We have pictures that go back 5 years in our group, 1,000’s of them. I was fun to look back and see the different looks, wigs and how we have all progressed. It was a nice walk down memory lane for us.

Well by this time we were all getting hungry so we ordered dinner, I got a salad. So we all ate and enjoyed some girl talk while we ate and of course a couple of the girls started playing pool. By this time other girls started showing up and I could already tell we would have a good turnout tonight. At one point I tried to count and got 26 but some may have left or not shown up yet so I am sure there were at least a few more, we pretty much took over the one section.

Olivia showed up I met her through Brooke, her and I are friends on facebook so I knew she would be there. She is a GG and it turns out her boyfriend works just across the street from the P-Club. She had on this really cute retro 70’s look outfit that she made, how cool would that be to be able to make your own outfits. Well it was time for shuffle board so Diane and Olivia played Cassie and me in a game it was a really close game and in the end they won by 1 point

Jan and Lynn also made it and brought a few girls they met at Esprit this year. They stayed in town to go out with our group tonight. So I guess maybe 5 or the girls that were there were not from our group but they still count. At this time we had girls playing shuffleboard and both pool tables.

Jennifer made it also so I had a chance to talk with her. She actually filled in for Diane when we were playing shuffle board when Diane went to get a drink. Jennifer actually scored 8 points on the one turn she did so in reality since they only won by one point it was Jennifer that won the game. She was on the same end as me so it gave us a chance to talk while we played.

Maya and Darla also made it, they are a really cute couple together and of course Darla had to show us her ring. Turns out Maya purposed and they are engaged. The big question is who gets to wear the wedding dress. Cassandra made a toast for the group.

Sophia and Lorna also showed up, seems they make it every few weeks. They are a great couple also and I enjoy talking to them. Problem is with such a big group which was great I didn’t notice them show up so it took me a while to get over and talk to them. We chatted for a few minutes but then I had to get back to my shuffle board game. Next time will have to be sure I can sit with them and talk more.

Well as I said we had such a big group I ended up standing most of the night and as I wore my 4″ heels by about midnight my feet were so soar I did what most woman do, I took them off which really did feel good. I got a chance to sit and really talk with Diane and heard all about her trip to Southern Comfort last year and even saw some great pictures. I may have to go to that one of these years if I can work into my vacations. Any way it was nice to talk to her and I learned a lot more about her. It is funny as we live these duel lives and we really do have wonderful close friends but we still keep things private. Some of these girls I consider my best friends but there are still things they don’t know, some have never seen my male side even in a picture but then I don’t have many pictures of my male self.

Well it was getting late and time to leave. It turns out that Olivia’s boyfriend’s birthday is this weekend and she was going over when he got off to surprise him. She had present for him and a card which she had some of us sign. It is funny signing a Birthday card for someone you have never met. Any way as we left she wanted a couple of us to go across the street to where he works and wish him a happy birthday so Victoria and I went. They were closed by this time but he came out and we all wished him a happy Birthday and Olivia gave him his presents which he opened. They really are a cute couple together. I wondered what he thought about his girlfriend showing up with two T-girls of which he has never met to wish him a happy Birthday. Well we said our goodbyes and it was time to leave. It was now after 2 am but what a fun night.

Made it to Starbucks again finally

Well it has been another busy week for my male self. I was planning on coming to Starbuck’s tomorrow night but I have a meeting so at the last minute I decided tonight was my chance. I got all dressed up and was out the door earlier than normal when I come here so actually made it before 7. They are all done with their remodel and it really looks nice inside. They are also pretty busy as there was only one table open and I had to stand in line. The cool thing is it is almost all women here tonight only 3 men and about 15 women so I guess Starbuck’s tonight is a ladies night out.

It is strange as it has been awhile since I have been here. Looking back through my blog, one of the cool things about having a blog I can see the last time I was here was 5 weeks ago. For some reason I was thinking it had only been 3 weeks, my how time flies. It is relaxing to sit here and play on my computer, surf the internet, catch up on e-mails while enjoying a nice warm drink. It really is amazing how relaxing and comfortable I feel here.

I have been reading some of my friend’s blogs and posts on their facebook page about Diva Las Vegas. It sounds like they all had such a fun time and so many great pictures. I can’t wait for the Diva Las Vegas web page to post all the pictures. They usually give as month or two for people who attended to submit their pictures and then the same for those who attended to check them out and request to remove any of the ones with them in it as some girls want or need privacy and I know we have all been there at one time or another. I hope they will have them on their page by the fall. You can always check out the past years as they really have a lot of picture. It is a really fun week if you ever want to take a vacation as a girl.

Now I have gotten a few e-mails from other t-girls who I assume are just starting out wondering why I like to dress and I guess why they like to dress. I have done a lot of thinking on this over the years and all I can say is there is no one answers for everyone. We are all individuals and as such the reasons I dress may or may not be the same for others. There are some common areas that talking with other crossdressers I have found. Mostly it just feels right, I find it very relaxing. I can dress up as Susan and for a few hours I really am a different person, not a duel or split personality as I choose when and am always in control kind of like an actor or actress would play a part. But it is a great way to get away from any problems or issues in my life, what I call my mini vacations. As Susan I have a group of friends that are separate from my male side and his friends. It really is a great hobby and that is just how I view it. I have friends who play sports, camp, hike, fish, cook or any number of things to relax and for me it is being Susan. There really is no difference other than I think my hobby is way more fun. By the way I also like to camp, hike, fish and play some sports just my Susan time is the most fun for me.

Now as I said there are differences, one of the biggest for me is pictures. My male side hates his picture being taken but Susan loves the camera. It really is funny as I was going through all my pictures on my computer and it really shows. I found two pictures of my male self, both with an ex-girlfriend from 7 years ago, that is it. Now on the other hand Susan has over 2,000 pictures dating back to when I first started dressing which by the way is pre digital camera. Back when I would take pictures and have to have the film developed and then I would scan them into my computer before destroying the picture. I so love digital cameras so much easier and way cheaper. I was talking with some of my friends last week at the P-Club about this and it is funny as most of them are the same. Very few picture of their male self but hundreds if not thousands of their female side. I think girls are just more photogenic.

Now even with the differences between how I act and dress deep down I am the same person. I think the same, now I will admit that I probably lean more to the female gender (feelings) but I think that is just normal for me, I tend to have a softer side and outlook on life. I like pretty things and I like all kinds of movies from the action adventure to what most people would call a chick flick. I really think it makes me a more rounded person as I can see both sides and enjoy it all. Sharing both male and female sides gives one a unique perspective on life in general.

It is funny as today at work there was a couple arguing and the woman told the guy with her, “you just don’t understand what woman deal with” and I was thinking to myself maybe he does. I know I don’t understand everything about being a woman but I do know a lot. It is hard work to always look good, makeup, hair, clothes. My male side can get up in the morning, eat a bowl of cereal. Shower and dress and be out the door in less than thirty minutes. Susan on the other hand needs a lot more time. Just my makeup can take 30 minutes or more.

Well must get back to my e-mails now. This Friday I will of course be out with my friends at the P-Club. We go there every week but for me it is not about where we go but spending time with my friends as that is so important. I really think having good friends to spend time with and it does not matter if you are male, female or transgender is what makes life awesome and fun and keeps you healthy and happy. So that is my tip for a healthy happy life, make some good friends and remember a friendship is just like a relationship, there will be good and bad times and it takes work but the work is well worth the effort because a true friend is always there for you.

Wednesday night dinner with friends.

Well it has been another busy week for my male self leaving little time for Susan but as I cannot get out Friday night I really wanted to get out during the week. Now I was planning on going to Starbuck as it has been a long time since I have been there but something more important came up. Wednesday was Cassandra and Roxy’s birthday and as they always go out for dinner and then to a club on Wednesdays I decided to surprise them. It really was a last minute option so I had to rush to get ready. Now being nice again I was worried about my neighbors being out so I kept looking out the windows and sure enough the 5 neighbor kids were all playing ball in the street right in front of my house.

Well I was already by 6:30 and chose my purple dress and heels as I wanted to look really cute. Looking out the front window 3 of the kids were still playing in the street. You have heard of being all dressed up and no place to go, here I was all dressed up with some place I wanted to go and no way to get out of the house without driving right through them. Really it was only a moment when the 3 of them ran into their garage and I ran for my car in my garage and was out the door. As I turned out of my drive onto the street I could see them coming back out from their house but I just kept going as they would not get a good look at me and they were more interested in playing. I can see as the summer goes on it will be harder for this girl to get out unseen.

Now the plan was to meet at the House of Louie which is a Chinese restaurant in Old Town Portland for dinner at 7 and then go over to Boiler Room for Karaoke and pool around 9 which is when I planned to leave as Work starts early for me. The other cool thing is I have never been to the House of Louie so this is a new place for Susan. I found a parking spot about a block. It was a nice warm evening for the walk and to the House of Louie and I was stopped twice by woman who told me how beautiful I looked, what girl doesn’t love to hear that. Well I got inside and Cristine was the only one there so I joined her and we waited.

It wasn’t long before the two birthday girls, Cassandra and Roxy showed up along with Chris and yes they were surprised to see me out on a Wednesday night. We talked for a bit before we ordered. The food was so good and there was so much that we couldn’t eat it all. It was a really fun night.

About 8:30 Victoria Sinclair, Marla and her girlfriend showed up and joined us. It was so great to see them out again. Victoria has been coming out a lot the last couple weeks after not being able to get out for a while. Well they ordered some food so this gave us a chance to sit and talk more. It really is amazing how fast the time went. The last two to show up were Joan and Bob. Well most of the food was gone and time to leave but not before some pictures of the birthday girls and yea I had to get in one of them.

Well we all left together and walked to the corner before I said my goodbye’s and went to my car. It was almost 9:30 so just a little later than I planned on being out but so worth it. I may have to try to go out with them on Wednesday every once in a while.

May outing to Harvey’s Comedy club

Well it is Saturday night and time for our monthly outing to Harvey’s Comedy club. This is always such a fun night and I really look forward to it. Again it is a beautiful day out and about 85 out so lots of people out in my neighbor hood working in their yards so could be an issue when I leave but I will worry about that then. I started getting ready at 5 as I wanted to leave by 6:30 as parking is easier downtown before 7. Well I was ready right on time in my white skirt and pink top and looking out I could see none of my neighbors out so it looks like no problem leaving.

I got downtown just before 7 and I found a parking spot about a ½ block away from the Fox & Hound where we were meeting so I took it as I didn’t want to have to drive around looking. Walking to Fox & Hound I noticed several other spots right in front, guess parking was a lot easier tonight. Anyway I went in and Cassandra was the only one there so I joined her. It wasn’t long and other girls started to show up.

Even Becky from last night joined us for dinner; she wasn’t going to Harvey’s as she didn’t want to be out that late she just wanted to meet up with us for a little while. She actually did her own hair which is pretty short but really looked good on her and natural. Wow wish I could do that with my hair but I need the longer hair to help hide some of my face.

Soon most of us were there, Cassandra, me, Cristine, Bobby, Jan, Lynn, their son Ray, Joan, Victoria, and even Jenn. Last time Jenn just met us at Harvey’s but tonight she met us at Fox & Hound so we had a chance to talk both there and on the walk to Harvey’s. Really the walk to Harvey’s is fun as walking around the city like any other woman is nice and it was a nice warm night.

We got to Harvey’s and the window was already open so we got our tickets and went inside the bar. April the bar tender was so happy to see us as usual and came over and gave us hugs. What a wonderful feeling. We got our drinks and sat in the bar waiting for the show to start. What better time for pictures. This is Victoria, me and Jenn before the show.

Harvey’s was not as busy tonight as last time which may be because it is Mothers Day weekend. We got a table in the middle where we had a good view of the stage. The comedians were really good. The headliner was so funny, his name was Gabriel Rutledge so if you get a chance to see him you should. This really is a fun night out with the girls. Big thanks again to Cassandra, Jan & Lynn for getting our group the tickets.

I hope to get out next week sometime either Wednesday or Thursday as I have to work all next weekend and will miss Friday night. Thanks for reading and have a great week.

Sunny warm Friday night with friends 5-11-2012

Well it has been another long week and yes I did not make it to Starbucks again this week which makes like 4 weeks in a row so I was really looking forward to Friday night with my friends. I was finishing up my makeup which is something I really enjoy, I know some GG’s will disagree on this but then they have been doing their makeup every day for many years and I only get to do it 2 times a week for the last few years so for me it is still really fun. Any way I looked out my front window and my neighbor lady was across the street talking with those neighbors standing at the end of their drive which is right across from my driveway and they were watching their kids, 5 of them riding their bikes in the street so they were facing my drive. Now I know I said I knew at some point they would see me and I would just deal with it but there is a difference between them just accidently seeing me and pulling right out in front of them so I was wondering what I was going to do. Well I still had to get dressed and put my nails on so I had time to think about it. Well 10 minutes later I was all ready and looked out the window and they were all gone so I was out the door as fast as I could. With the warmer weather I can see this will make it a lot harder to get out.

Well I got to the P-Club and Cassandra and Chris were there, now I was worried we would have a small turnout being Mothers Day weekend, Happy Mother’s Day to all you Mothers out there. Also being a nice sunny and bright day and then the fact the group is going to Harvey’s tomorrow night I just felt very few would be out but Cassandra kept telling me it was earl and she was right as we had a great turn out. At least 25 that I counted and maybe a few more I missed.

Well I was hungry and so Cassandra and I ordered dinner. I was going to have a salad as I really do need to watch what I eat but Nicole told Cassandra they are defiantly getting rid of the ribs so we both ordered that and it turns out we got the very last two. Kristy showed up next and she also ordered or tried to order the ribs but they were out.

By about 9pm girls started to show up and our group was growing. It was time for shuffle board. Cassandra and Barb challenge Victoria and me to a game. The table was really bad so Cassandra got a towel and cleaned it all off and then we re-salted it. This made it a little more challenging as over the last several weeks I had gotten use to the slow spotty conditions. Cassandra and Barb took an early lead but Victoria and I came back in the end and won by 5, really good game.

Victoria Sinclair also came out; yes we have two Victoria’s. The funny thing I have noticed is most T-Girls only have or use a first name so can be confusing when there is more than one girl with same name. I thought about my name Susan Miller and how I came up with it. Susan was a really cute girl I had a huge crush on when I was 15 and could never get up the courage to talk to her plus she had a boyfriend but I also really love her name so I am Susan. A lot of girls I have found picked name this way. Anyway I got a post office box so I could order things and then added Susan to my box, now the funny part is I had just emptied my new box and all that I had was junk mail from the last people who had it. When the guy at the counter asked me Susan’s last name to put on the box I was looking at the mail and the last name on it was Miller and that just came out. I guess if I had not had the post office box I would have never even thought about a last name. Wow got off track there.

As I said Victoria Sinclair came out and it was great to see her. She has a business called over the rainbow and does makeovers for T-Girls, teaches them how to do makeup, cloths, and wigs and even will take them out for evenings so she had two girls with her. One was Becky and she is up from the Bay Area on her way to Esprit which is a transgender event in Port Angeles every year in May. Any way Becky was in town for the weekend on her way there and came out with our group. It was great to get to know her as she seems really nice. We had a good chance to talk for a while. The other girl was named Rachel and it was so awesome to meet her. She has been crossdressing in private all her life and last Wednesday was the first time she has ever gone out, she went to Victoria for a makeover and then went out with the group to CC Slaughters and tonight was her second time out. Now I know what you are thinking as everyone has a first time out but you see Rachel is 82 years old and is just getting out, how awesome is that. I didn’t get as much time talking with her as I would have liked but I think she is moving here to Portland so I should see her out more and get more of a chance to talk with her and get to know her.

The highlight of the night was a group of about 10 women that came in and sat not far from us. As normal Cassandra was the one who just walked right up to them and started talking with them, god I wish I could do that? Any way once she broke the ice she pointed to the group and I took that as an invitation and went right over and started talking with them. They seemed totally fine with us as a matter of fact they soon all had their cell phones out and were getting pictures with us. I bet there must have been 50 pictures taken by them. Well I could not have that so I went and got my camera and came back to get pictures with them. Well turns out this blonde forgot it had been a while since she changed her batteries and the camera went dead but not before I got one picture. I guess one is better than none. This is Denise and she was totally awesome. It is so cool to meet people like her and her friends.

Well tomorrow night, Saturday our group is going to Harvey’s comedy club again. I think we have 14 that have said they are going and a couple more maybes so it should be a fun night so there will of course be a blog for that.

Next weekend Susan has to work all weekend so no P-Club for her but that being said I am for sure going to find a way to go to Starbucks as I need at least one night out as Susan.

Cinco de Mayo party 2012

Well it is Saturday night and time for our yearly Cinco de Mayo party that Kathy, Mandie and Danielle; the three of them host it each year for the last three and do a wonderful job. Well as I don’t really have any outfits that would fit with Cinco de Mayo I decided to wear my black wig and do my makeup a little more dramatic. Now being a nice day I was worried some of my neighbors might be outside and as I know they have seen a blonde driving my car having black hair this time might cause them to really look a little closer but only a couple were out down the street and I really don’t know them that well so no problems.

It was a 45 minute drive but so worth the trip. I got there right at 6:30 and there were already a few girls there and they even had a DJ playing music. Now I was going to get lots of pictures and what better way than to start with our hostess Kathy, her and Danielle had matching dresses except that Danielle’s was pink and white and very cute, I really like pink. Well the party was already off to a great start. My first stop was the bar to get a drink and what better for Cinco de Mayo than a nice cold Sprite. I know not your normal party drink but then I am not a big drinker. From there it was time for some food. There was so much food and all looked so wonderful. They had all the makings for tacos which I love so I had a few never mind how many and of course they also had wonderful deserts which this girl could not pass up. Probably why I need to go on a diet.

More girls started to show up and by 7:30 the house was full, I think this was the biggest turnout that we have had at their home. Kristy showed up in a really cute black dress and she brought a friend she had gone to high school with. Her name was Jina. Kristy had come out to her and her husband a while back and they were totally okay with her dressing so she came to the party with her to meet all of us ladies. She was a lot of fun and I enjoyed talking with her and of course there had to be a picture. We also had the same color pink toenail polish. Over her shoulder is Christy she is Diane’s friend that came out Friday night and so nice. Any way Jina and I talked about her daughter and also about why I and some of the others dress, you know just your everyday girl talk. Still not sure about the black wig on me.

Peggy could not make the party but Cassandra had a life size picture of Peggy on the wall in the living room so all the girls took turns getting their picture taken with her so it was almost like she was there. Now there were two funny things at the party and names will be left out but I just have to include them. One of the girls in the kitchen had on these really awesome 6″ heels well on the wood floor her feet slipped and she fell back on her behind, didn’t get hurt but was a little embarrassed about it. I told her no one really saw it and after a bit no one would remember it which was true as about 30 minutes later another one of the girls went to go outside to the deck and didn’t see the screen door and walked right into it and put her heel right through it. These are all such great memories as we have all done things like this at one point or another.

Robyn from Seattle was down for the party which was really nice as she doesn’t get ton Portland that often so I really look forward to talking with her when I can. She was our bar tender for a while and did a great job. Sophia and Lorna also made it too which was nice, they get out every few weeks and always nice to see them and talk with them.

Lori was also there, she is Kathy and Mandie’s friend and is also totally okay with all us ladies. She is really awesome and fun to talk with. We had a good chance to talk in the kitchen for about 20 minutes or so. We had a good talk and I explained why I dress and about all the differences between the girls. We all share the love of dressing but the reasons we dress can very as we are a very diverse group. It really is cool that there are GG’s out there that are fine with a man expressing his feminine side.

Now I really made an effort to talk to everyone there at some point and for once I think I did get a chance to talk to everyone. I even met Rosalynda for the first time. She has gone out with the group before but not on nights I have been able to go out so it was nice to actually get a chance to talk with her.

Victoria Sinclair and Petra also showed up and it has been a log times since they have made it out with the group. It was so nice to chat with them. They also brought a girl I think her name was April who was in town and had Victoria give her a makeover. She looked really good and it was nice to meet her and chat with her for a bit.

Later on Brooke even showed up and so I had to get a picture with her also. It was nice to see her out again as she has been going through a lot lately. Now I am not sure how many showed up for the party but would guess at least 50 and yes we all had a wonderful time. I wish to Thank Kathy, Mandie and Danielle for opening their home for such a wonderful party. I often wonder what their neighbors must think with all these tall girls there.

Well it was getting late and time for me to leave so I said all my goodbyes. Rosalynda lives not far from me and on my way home so I gave her a ride which gave us a chance to talk a little more. She is really nice and I hope she comes out more with the group.

It was a fun night but went by way to fast. Next Saturday will be Harvey’s comedy club and of course our normal Friday night at the P-Club. I even hope to get to Starbucks again this week.

Friday night with my friends

Well it has been another long week for Susan so she was really looking forward to an evening out with her friends. I got to the P-Club about 7:15 and Cassandra, Chris, Diane and her friend Christy were already there. It was great to see Diane again as she is in town for the week. She in traduced me to her friend Christy, seems they went to High School together and reconnected on Face book. It is so cool what the internet has done for us as far as connection and keeping in touch with friends. It was nice to Meet Christy, she is really nice and I enjoyed talking with her and look forward to talking to her more.

I had a good chance to talk with Cassandra and Cristine about their trip to Diva Las Vegas. They had a great time. They did a lot of fun stuff such as going down town Las Vegas to the Freemont experience. I have been there a couple times as my male self but never as Susan. There were so many people there and they got lots of pictures. I was sad I couldn’t go this year but glad they had such a good time and I look forward to going with them next year plus hearing all their stories plus reading some of my friends face book pages about Diva Las Vegas and Alexis blog it was kind of like being there. I have also seen so many wonderful pictures.

Well it was time for dinner and they still had the ribs on the menu so I ordered them and they were so good. The meat fell right off the bones so I could eat them with a fork which for Susan is really important as I hate getting my hands or worse my face messy and heaven forbid I mess up my lipstick. Susan has her priorities and looking cute and pretty is at the top of the list.

Well other girls started to show up and we had a pretty good turnout, maybe 12 to 15 girls in all. Some of the girls played pool but the real game was shuffle board. Bobby and I challenged Diane and Kelly to a shuffle board game. We won both games the first easily but the second game was really close.

We had several new girls show up which is always great. One was named Tabatha and she was really nice. I enjoyed talking to her. It is always so nice to meet new people and get to know them. I think that is one of the great things about this group as it gives us a chance to meet new people. I have met so many wonderful people and although we all share a common interest in the way we dress and present ourselves we are all different in ways too. It is these differences that make us all special and create such a unique and wonderful group.

Michelle was also another new girl that showed up. Talked to her a little but not as much as I would have liked but that is because we started playing shuffle board, Michelle was my partner so she was on the other end of the table. I look forward to talking to her more the next time she is out with the group. I hope they all join our group the Rose City T-Girls. Cassandra gave them all her card and invited them to join. We also told them all about the Cinco de Mayo party Saturday night and I think, hope they will all show up.

The rest of the night was fun and yes I even played a game of pool against Diane. It was a close game but in the end Diane was the winner. I really need to work on my pool game I think that is why I like shuffle board more as this girl is way better at that game.

The cool part of the P-Club is some of the regulars come over and talk with us throughout the evening. We are pretty much accepted as regulars there and people treat us that way. It really is a fun and accepting place for our group to go. If you are ever in the Portland Oregon area on a Friday night feel free to come join us.

It was a really fun night and as always it went way to fast. As we were paying our bills there were 3 men at the bar that started talking to us. They were okay with us but wanted to know why we liked dressing this way so we talked with them for probably 15 minutes. I think this is really important to be willing to talk with people and answer their questions as this is how people find out about us and who we are and this I think brings a greater acceptance of all.

Well Saturday night our group is having a Cinco de Mayo party which should be a lot of fun and I am really looking forward to it. I had hoped to get a new outfit for the party but just didn’t have a chance to go shopping but I do know what I am going to wear, actually I have done a lot of thinking about the party and know just the look I want. It will be such a fun night. The bad part is I will have to leave about 5:30 on a Saturday night and if the weather is nice I am sure my neighbors will be out working in their yards which will be a challenge.

I also plan on going to Starbucks this week as I have missed the last 3 weeks going there. It really is a nice relaxing evening out. Also next Friday at the P-Club and then next Saturday for our monthly night out at Harvey’s comedy club so Susan should have a busy week ahead.
