My life as a heterosexual crossdresser.

Saturday night birthday party for a friend

Well it turns out January is a great month for a Birthday. AS you know from my blog I celebrated my Birthday on Friday but I also have several friends with January Birthdays. Dan, Cristine, Chris My beautiful girlfriend Kim and Kimberly. Anyway Kimberly’s birthday is next weekend so she will be out of town so she had a small Birthday celebration last night at the Tiki Lounge at the Alibi on Interstate in Portland and she invited me. Now I have known Kimberly for many years we met back when they still had Geocities.com and Yahoo360 so it would be the late 90’s probably but we only met in person in the last year. I was really looking forward to this, I wore my floral print dress as it was a Hawaiian theme.

Now I have been by this place many times but I have never been inside so I will admit I was a little nervous, going into a lounge by yourself that you have never been to before would be a little intimidating for any single woman. I got there about 6:30 and their main parking lot was full and so was the close street parking so I had to park in their second parking lot about a half block up. I parked and walked up the street to the front door and went in not sure where they would be and realizing the only person I would know for sure was Kimberly. I looked around and saw Kimberly in the front corner area with a few other people so I went over and joined them. Now this place was really busy so there were lots of people around but no one really paid any attention to us. There were about 10 or 12 girls there and Kim introduced me to them all including her wife.

I got a chance to talk with Kim for a bit and get to know her better which is always easier in smaller groups. Well of course it wouldn’t be a Birthday without cake so I had a small piece yes I have eaten enough cake in the last two days to last me a long time. I talked with a couple of the other ladies there and yes at one point we talked about nails. Kim’s wife came and joined in the conversation which was nice. I got to hear about how they met and their weddings, yes they had two one traditional and one where Kim wore a wedding dress. Turns out a few of the ladies here were Kim’s wife friends and they had also been bride’s maids at their wedding. How fun that must have been plus they get two anniversaries to celebrate. It was a really enjoyable evening and our waiter was awesome.

It was a really fun evening and I got to meet some new people. I stayed till almost 10 pm before I left. What a fun night and I hope Kim has a wonderful Birthday next weekend, yes I am 1 week older then her. So here is wishing all my friends with birthday’s this month, Happy Birthday and many more.

Friday night birthday celebration

Tonight was going to be a fun night out and I have been looking forward to it all week long. What better way to end a week and start the weekend then a fun night out with friends, oh I know celebrating a birthday, yes today is my birthday and I have the chance to spend it not only with my family earlier in the day but also with Susan’s friends and family at Sweet Home. How cool is that, one celebration at work in my male mode, one with family in my male mode and then one as Susan with my friends of course this included way to much cake in one day. Now I know some may ask how old but a lady is entitled to a few secrets plus it is hard to figure out after all my male age is easy but Susan is younger as she did not come into existents till later in life and how does one define that, when I first started crossdressing, when I named her Susan, when I first started going out as Susan so as you can see Susan is still younger.

I was ready to leave by 7 and so looking forward to a fun night out. Now I am friends with several of the Karaoke group from Sweet Home and it turns out one of their members also is having a birthday tonight, she I guess would be my birthday sister. Well as such they were doing a Pirate theme tonight. They really are a fun group and do theme nights every once in a while and they love the pirate theme so they had let our group know in case we wanted to participate. Of course with my limited wardrobe well I have never bought a pirate outfit but maybe I will for the next time.

I got to Sweet Home and Cassandra, Chris, Jim and Bobby were all there and Cassandra brought a cake but luckily o candles of course I don’t think the fire code would allow that many open flames in the bar. Well there were actually a good crowd here for as early as it was, even the Karaoke group came in earlier than normal. A little later Petra, Roxy, Cristine, Jan and Lynn all showed up so we had a good group. Now none of us had Pirate outfits but the Karaoke group had some awesome outfits, not Halloween costume type but really good well-made outfits. It was just such a fun night.

I think everyone in the bar at one point or another wished me a Happy Birthday. By the time Karaoke started the place was packed, yes the Karaoke group had a great turnout of their group but there was also a lot of people neither associated with our group or theirs that were there. Cassandra I were joking about what someone who had never been here before would think if they walked in tonight, 20 to 30 people dressed as Pirates and then our group of 10 or so transgendered, but everyone there was having a good time. Heather was there and she had on this really cute pirate outfit that looked like it came right out of a movie. It was great to see her and talk with her. Blue was also there but she found out about the Pirate theme to late but it was great to see her also.

About 10 the host of Karaoke paused and told everyone we had birthdays in the house so Goni and I went upfront and the bar sang happy birthday to us, I don’t know what is more embarrassing being upfront singing Karaoke or standing there having everyone sing to you. Now I have met Goni and her husband Jeff before while I have been here but tonight I got a chance to talk with them more and get to know a little more about them and I think that was an awesome birthday gift.

Well it was time to cut the cake not that I needed any more cake today. I had Cassandra cut the cake partly because I didn’t want to get any frosting on my hands or under my beautiful nails. Several people from the bar both men and woman came over and talked to us, it was just such a fun night with great interaction between everyone. I even played a game of pool and almost won, Cassandra had to make 3 balls in a row and the 8 ball to win. The Karaoke was great, I really enjoy watching the people get up and sing. Some are really good and some not so good but they all have the courage to get up and sing and have fun and that makes them good.

I had a chance to talk with several people tonight about transgender which I really enjoy and I am by no means an expert but I think talking with them helps them understand us a little more. One of the biggest things I tell them is that we really are no different other then we like to dress a little outside the norm. One thing I have learned from all my years of crossdressing and from talking with others we do have some common things we go through. We all start off with that feeling we are alone, the only one who feel this way. Now the internet has made this better because you can find anything on the internet but when I was young I was convinced I was the only boy in the world who felt this way. Yes I was around before e-mail and the internet. The biggest help is to realize we are not alone and that a higher percentage of people crossdress or are transgendered then we think. Studies I have seen say about 20% of men crossdress in some form and about 5% need to dress completely and a side not that number is way higher for woman but then again it is more acceptable for woman to crossdress.

Once we come to terms with the fact we are not alone the next big hurtle is guilt, guilt over what we are doing, guilt over how it will affect others, family friend and c-workers, guilt over what people will think of us or say how they will look at us or react to us. Guilt is a hard thing to overcome but we have to remember we are not hurting anyone it is just our form of expression and it does not matter if you are a part time girl or live full time and transition it doesn’t hurt anyone and there is no reason to feel guilty about it even though others may try to make you feel that way. I often tell people I don’t expect them to want to crossdress or for that matter even like the idea but I do expect them to recognize my right to live my life how I need to. There are things others do I don’t like and are not right for me and I would not do them but that in no way means it is not right for someone else or they cannot do it, freedom of choice.

Once you get passed these the next big hurdle is going out and feeling okay about it and to do that you have to not care what others think. I know I don’t pass as a woman but I don’t care what others think and the good thing about that is you come across as self-confident and that helps a lot. If you are acting scared others will pick up on that and pay more attention to you, the key is to not give them a reason to really look close at you. People are busy with their own lives and as such tend not to focus on others unless something draws their attention. Simple put someone in a dress, long hair and makeup says feminine and on a casual glance that is what we see unless we do something that causes them to look closer. Now even if they do realize we are transgender most people won’t challenge you on it for two reasons, first they don’t want to cause a seen and then there is always the chance they could be wrong. That being said if you are acting like you are doing something wrong people will pick up in that and they will believe you are doing something wrong and then they are more likely to say something. Most places don’t have laws against transgendered people and many places now have laws that protect them. These were the hardest things for me to work through but once I did life became way better. Just my thoughts.

Well it was now past 1:30 and time to leave so we went up and paid our bills. Paul the owner took care of mine for my Birthday which was so sweet of him. I left a small tip but as I always pay with a credit card I didn’t have much cash so next week I will have to leave a little more. This really is an awesome place to go. Now having so much fun and yes being blonde I never thought to take my camera out and get pictures which is sad as I could have had so many great pictures with Pirates. Well next time I will have to remember to get pictures.

Thanks for reading and have a great day

End of the week fun with friends

Wow it is the middle of January already and as it is Friday night it is time for a girl’s night out with my friends, what better way to start he weekend. I think it is so important to have things you look forward to and the support of awesome friends as that is what keeps you going when things get hard and Susan is blessed with so many wonderful friend both online here that I have yet to meet and those I have met.

Well first thing first a couple updates for me. I am all registered for Diva Las Vegas and I have my hotel room all booked at The Quad where my friends are also staying. Right now from our group besides me we have Cassandra, Cristine, Melissa, Julie, Petra and Veronica going for sure and in the maybe column and I hope will go are Kelli, Mikaela, Laura, Michelle, and Brenda, how much fun would it be if we all were in Las Vegas the week of March 30 to April 4 for Diva Las Vegas. It is so much fun you really should check it out and think about joining us.

Well if you have read my blog you know our group was kicked out of a club in June of 2012 and we filed a complaint with the state and won and we are now waiting for the owner Chris Penner to appeal it. Well it turns out this was not his first run in with the state and in his other case the Oregon state Supreme court ruled on Thursday against him yes this case went all the way to the Oregon Supreme Court and it was all over $7,000 in back wages.

Well back to tonight and the fun Susan will have. I have been so looking forward to tonight and could not wait so I started getting ready at 5 to give myself time to enjoy the transformation to Susan, I find this whole process relaxing and fun. Well tonight I took about an hour and 40 minutes to get ready and enjoyed every minute. I was looking good and ready to leave and again I opened the garage door on the way out to my car and soon I was off to meet my friends. I got to Sweethome and the parking lot was full and so were the close street parking so I had to park about a block up, it has been a while since I had to park this far away and of course it was a cold night but at least dry.

Inside Cassandra, Chris, Laura and Silver were already there and the bar was pretty busy, I guess a lot of people came down to watch the Blazer Basketball game which they won which of course made everyone happy. There was a guy at the bar with his girlfriend who comes in occasionally and as I went by he told me how pretty I looked tonight and his girlfriend agreed which really makes a girls night so I stopped and talked to them for a few minutes. This is what makes being out with all types of people so special. Paul the owner came over to see if I wanted anything so I ordered dinner, this really is an awesome friendly place to go.

More girls started to show up. Bobby and Julie and Julie brought me a little gift which was so sweet of her, thanks Julie. It was great Julie could make it, turns out Trixie her girlfriend was out of town with her girlfriends so Julie went out with hers, by the way Trixie is awesome and knows all about Julie and is very supportive of her. It is amazing when I first started going out in 2008 I only know one person who had a supportive wife/girlfriend now I know so many, Julie & Trixie, Cassandra & Peggy, Jan & Lynn, Michelle & Christy, Mandy & Kathy, Mikaela & her girlfriend, Melissa & her girlfriend, Roxy & Chris, and of course the most important Me & Kim and I am sure there are more my poor blonde head can’t remember. Cristine and Diane also showed up. It was great to see Diane again as she usually didn’t get out much but lately she has been and that is awesome. Roxy, Bianca and Dan also made it out tonight.

Carolyn also was able to join us which was awesome. I usually only see her at parties so it was great to get a chance to talk with her. I got a chance to talk with her for a while at the bar and get to know her better. It is funny as I have known her for several years but tonight we had the chance to talk one on one which I really enjoy. I hope she can come out more with the group.

We also met another new girl who we have seen here a couple time, her name was Tyra. She came out two years ago and has been living full time since. I got a chance to talk with her and she seems really nice but little shy which I can understand. We talked for a while and had fun. She was interested in our group so I gave her a card with my e-mail address on it and told her to e-mail me and I would invite her to join our group. Our group has really grown as we have almost 300 members now.

Kelsey and her boyfriend Chuck also came in, our group met them not long after we started coming here and they are awesome and always happy to see us and always have a hug for us. They really are good friends we have met here. This bar really does have that family feeling to it.

Blue and her Sister Red also showed up. Now I am not sure if these are their real name but that is what people there call them and they answer to so it is good enough for me and yes their hair matches names. It is funny as they showed me a picture of their mom and she has Purple hair but they told me she that is not her name. Anyway Blue put in a song to sing “Drift away” and wanted me to sing with her so I said I would. I will sing with other people but just can’t seem to do it by myself. It was a really fun night, it was almost 1 am when the last of us left, Cassandra, Julie, Laura and me. Now it was cold outside and I did have a wrap but I was wearing a short black dress and my open toed heels and trust me that does not keep you warm so the walk to my car was a little chilly and then of course I had frost on the windows so it was a cool ride home at least about half way till the car warned up enough to get some heat. It can be tough being a girl sometime but that is the price we pay for looking cute.

Thanks for reading and have a great day.

Out with friends on Friday night

Today I registered for Diva Las Vegas which this year is March 30 through April 4 (Sunday through Friday), this will be my 4th time going and it is so much fun. You really should check out their web page DLV. What make this one so fun is it is more of a vacation. They have activities you can sign up for, Dinner, Shows, Golfing and so on and all you do is pay your way to the event, no fees. It is not centered in one hotel you are free to stay and lace although they do have 3 recommended hotel and the events are all over town so it is a great opportunity to get out and mingle with people. We already he 7 from our group the Rose City T-girls that have registered and maybe 7 more that are thinking about going. I am really excited because this means I will get to get my nails done again, yes I will have acrylic nails for the whole week. I can’t wait!

Well it is Friday night and time for Susan to go out and have some fun. I so ok forward to the weekend and spending Friday night with my friends. It is such a relaxing time for me, it is amazing how just getting ready as Susan much less the time I spend as Susan can have such a calming effect on my life. I started getting ready at 5 tonight and enjoyed every moment. I know some women hate doing makeup and hair but then they have done it all their lives where I have done it a couple times a week for the last several years and before that it was a few times a year so for me the fun has not gone away. I guess in that respect I am like a teenage girl experimenting with makeup.

I was already to leave by 6:40 and again tonight I just opened the garage door and walked out to my car instead of getting into my car with the door shut. Now they were forecasting heavy rain tonight and tomorrow so I was really glad when I got there and found a parking spot close and it wasn’t raining. Cassandra, Chris and Laura were already there and Jodie was working the bar. Jodie is really awesome and we all love her the only bad part is she only works till about 8 when Paul the owner takes over who is also awesome but it would be great to have Jodie here more. I ordered dinner and talked with the girls, it was starting off as a great night.

Cassandra was on her computer again and in her favorite chat room, she turned her computer a little so I could also be on web cam with her while she talked. Chis also had his computer and was watching YouTube videos. They both get here early and play on their computers like I do when I go to Starbuck’s.

Others started to show up, Silver, Roxy, Bobby, Cristine and Petra so we did have a smaller group tonight but maybe because of the threat of heavy rain and wind. I talked with Cassandra about Diva Las Vegas and she is also registered along with Petra and Cristine and I know Veronica, Melissa and Julie are also going and Mikaela and Brenda are thinking about it plus a few more. It will be so much fun as we all had such a fun time last year. It is only a little over two months away, just seems impossible that it has been almost a year since I last went. I first went in 2010 with Cassandra and Peggy and then again in 2011 by myself you can read about them in my blog and then also in 2013 and we had about 12 of us from Portland that year. I can’t wait as I will live as Susan for the whole time just as I have done in the past. Well Petra Cassandra and I talked about maybe going golfing a few more time this year while we are at Diva Las Vegas which would be fun.

The bar got busier but I think the weather may have kept others away also. One of the ladies at the bar named Valerie told me how nice I looked and I ended up talking with her for a while, think this is one of the great things about going out to mainstream places as it gives us a good chance to interact with people and they can get to know us better and see we really are no different other than the way we choose to dress, I think this helps break down any walls that people might have. Several of the Karaoke group were there and we talked with several of them, they really are a great group and have totally accepted us as part of the bar family.

Karaoke started and as the crowd was smaller tonight the rotation for singing went quicker so both Chris and Laura sand many times and did a great job. It really was a fun night and as always it went by so quick. It was after midnight when we left but it was such a fun night.

Okay one last pitch for Diva Las Vegas, it is so much fun and cost nothing to attend you just pay for what you want to do so check out their web page. Below is links to my blog for each year in order.

Dinner with friends on Wednesday night

Well I had the chance to go out to dinner on Wednesday night. Amy had sent me a message she was in town and would be out. I got ready and was on my way by 6:30 to meet them at Fox & Hound. It has been a while since I have been here so I was looking forward to it. I got there and had to park about a block away and it was really raining so I got out my umbrella yes I bought a pink umbrella a few months back and this was my first chance to use it. Now I was smart enough to wear my 3″ heel boots instead of my open toe heels which was good as the rain was blowing and yes my legs got wet so I was glad when I got to the door.

Now Cassandra, Chris, Cristine, Amy, Cloe and her boyfriend Michael were there. It was so great to see them all and spend some time with them. Amy also wore her boots with heels which was awesome but then with the weather it was the sensible choice. Well we talked for a bit at the bar and then they put some tables together and we sat down for dinner. I sat next to Amy so we could talk a little.

Julie and Victoria also showed up, Julie was a little surprised to see me as like I said I don’t usually go downtown during the week. Anyway Julie sat on the other side of me so I got a chance to talk with her also which was nice. I am not sure how we got on the subject of TV commercials but we did and somehow the MasterCard commercials got brought up so I was telling them about my favorite one, well I don’t think it was one made by MasterCard more likely a parody someone did for YouTube as I don’t think it would be put on TV. Well to my surprise they had never seen it so I had to find it on my phone for them to watch. I will put the ling but it is a little R rated so remember that if you choose to watch “Master Card Commercial“.

Now I did order a Salad as that is one of my New Year’s resolution, I really only made two of them and I am going to post them here in hopes that this year I can keep them, first is to eat better reason for the salad, the second is to try to exercise more. My goal is 3 to 4 times a week. I really need to lose some weight and also get healthier as like everyone I am getting older and that becomes well maybe not more important but you are more aware of it as we age, at least I do. The salad was actually really good.

We had a nice time and great conversation and it was just a really fun night. Now some of the group was going over to CC’s Slaughters for pool and the rest were going to watch Marla perform at another club, so a little before 9 we all left which was good for me as I really needed to go home as I get up really early during the week the reason I don’t normally go out with the girls during the week as it is way too easy to lose track of time.

It was a fun night and I got to see my wonderful friends. I forgot to get a picture with Amy so I guess I will have to go out again when she comes back to town. Now when I left it wasn’t raining which was nice although the forecast for the next few days is heavy rain including 3 to 5 inches between Friday night and Saturday night so Friday night out should be fun. That is right Susan does not like the rain as it might mess up my hair or makeup and of course my pore pretty toes get cold and wet, but even with that it won’t stop Susan from going out.

Thanks for reading.

Starting the New Year off right with a Friday night out with friends

Well it has been a busy Holiday Season for both Susan and my male self, No I love the Holidays but in a way it is always nice when they are over and you can relax some. It is such a bust time of year especially when you are two persons living two lives. So I was really looking forward to tonight and a fun time with friends. I started getting ready at 5:15 so I would have time to enjoy my transformation, it is funny as soon as I start getting Susan ready I have this calm relaxing feeling. It is weird as the shower I take as my male self every morning is no different, I do the same things but somehow when it is Susan getting ready it relaxes me.

No doing my makeup I have really been working on the Smokey eye look and I think I am getting pretty good at it, I think it is just a wonderful look that looks good on everyone, plus you can tone it down for daytime or make it more dramatic for night time. Well it was so much fun and relaxing getting ready that it was almost 7 when I was ready to leave home. Now as I said di have become a lot more relaxed as Susan over the past few years. I use to carefully look outside to make sure it was clear, lately I have just been getting in my car and opening the garage door and going. Tonight without even thinking I opened the garage door first and then went out and got in the car while the door was open. Just like I do every time my male self leaves the house.

I got to Sweethome and Cassandra, Chris and Laura were already there and both Cassandra and Chris had their laptops out. Chris watching videos and Cassandra in a chat room. We chatted for a while and had something to eat it was just a really relaxing time. Now more girls showed up and yes we had a really good turnout tonight so I hope I don’t miss anyone. Jan, Lynn, Julie, Tessa, Lorna, Cristine, Bobby, Roxy and Rachael showed up. It was great to see Rachael out, she has actually been getting out more lately, and I think maybe 5 times in the last 3 months. Now Rachael is one of Susan’s oldest friend’s that I am still in contact with, I have known her for at least 10 years. Rachael and Alice who I have known for maybe 15 years were the ones who helped get Susan out of the closet so to speak. For me a night out was a late night drive but these two would e-mail me when they would be out in Portland so I had a place to go where I would know someone and not be alone. It was going out with them that led me to Embers where I met Cassandra and our friendship started and I joined the Rose City T-girl group. I owe so much to these 3 wonderful ladies as had I not met them I may never have come to accept Susan as part of who I am and met all my wonderful friends.

Well I got a good chance to talk with Rachael for a while and find out what is new with her and hopefully she will be able to keep getting out. I still think we need to try to get together for dinner one night. I took dome picture of Rachael as I said she hasn’t been out much so she needs some new pictures and of course I had to get one of me. She took the one above and I thought it turned out well for a close up.

I also got a chance to talk with Julie who is awesome, she gets out mostly on Wednesday nights and we all know I am mostly a Friday night girl so it was great she made it. I think I am going to have to try to make it out at least once a month for dinner on Wednesday nights so I can keep in touch with everyone. Especially as Amy now that she has moved will be out mostly on Wednesday night when she is in town for work.

Later Jamie and Marla showed up which was awesome. They get out but not usually on Friday nights so it was great to see them both. Plus always fun to talk with them. I should have gotten a picture with them but I had another blonde moment. Both of them looked great and it was nice to talk with them. Dan and Bianca also showed up who I haven’t seen since the Halloween party. So many girls showing up tonight who I really only see a couple time a year which just made tonight something special and special was what it was.

A little later Victoria, Guinevere and Jennifer showed up. Now I haven’t seen Guinevere or Jennifer since at Jennifer’s going away party. She was moving to Southern California so it was so awesome to see her again. Well it turns out the reason she moved has changed and hopefully she will be back living here in maybe a year or so and we are all excited about that. Plus she will be traveling up here now on a more regular basis. Well I had to get a picture with Jennifer and Guinevere, (left to right Cassandra, Jennifer, Susan and Guinevere). It was so awesome to spend some time with them and talk, kind of like when you get together with Family you don’t see often and yes all these girls are more like family than friends, you could say Susan is blessed with many Sisters.

Lorraine also was able to make it, we met Lorraine who is a GG back when we went to the P-club before we were excluded from there for being Transgender. She has been so wonderful and supportive of our group and even comes to Sweethome to hang out with us now. It was great to see her and have time to talk with her. It is amazing the wonderful people I have met while out as Susan and each one has had an impact on my life some way and helped shape who I am and I am thankful for each and every one of them. Well Laura, Lorraine and I sat at the bar for a while and talked and I even told a couple jokes that were good and we just had a wonderful time and I can think of no better way to spend an evening.

Well Jan, Lynn, Laura, Lorraine and I were the last of our group to leave and it was about 1 am. What a fun night it was but how fast it went by. I hope I didn’t leave anyone out but with so many out and being blonde if I did please forgive me.

New Year’s Eve 2013

Wow it is hard to believe that it is the end of 2013 already, where has the year gone. This has been a wonderful year for Susan in so many ways. I have grown so much this past year as Susan and she has become a big part of who I am. I have gotten out on a regular basis actually I think I made it out 106 times this year or at least that is how many blog posts I made this year. I have made so many awesome friends and I have a wonderful girlfriend who I share with my male self, life is wonderful for both sides of me but then again this blog is about Susan so let’s get back to her.

Well I knew some of the girls were going out to Sweethome so even though I had to work New Year’s Day I just had to go out for a little while at least. Actually Heather one of the Karaoke group had told me she was going and was going to wear a dress, heels, makeup and do her hair for New Year’s so I just had to go and get a picture with her. Yes I love being in pictures and for special night I can remember to get picture. This is Heather on the left, me in the middle and Lynn on the right.

Now I chose to wear my red dress as I don’t get much of a chance to wear it plus as you can see I can do a good job of creating breast and cleavage with this dress and yes it is a little tight which helps. I think that helps make the feminine look.

Well I got to Sweethome a little after 7 and Chris and Christine were already there. Now there was a new bartender well maybe not new but just one we hadn’t met yet but he was awesome and treated us great. Well I ordered dinner as I had worked late so I was hungry and we watched the end of the Portland Trail Blazer basketball game and believe it or not a couple of the woman there watching the game made more noise and cheered harder than most of the men so it just goes to show you don’t have to be male to love sports.

Well it wasn’t long and more girls started to show up starting with Teresa. She was on her way to another party but stopped in for a couple hours to spend some time with us which was awesome. I just had to get a picture with her plus I wanted one to send to Cassandra and Peggy as they couldn’t make it tonight and I wanted them to feel they were still with us in spirit, one of the great things about a cell phone is you can take a picture and send it in a text and post to your Facebook page in a matter of seconds. I had a chance to talk with Teresa for a while which was so nice. It is funny how much Susan loves to sit around and chat about almost anything.

Well Laura, Jan, Lynn and Petra also showed up so we had a small but fun group. I figured with New Year’s being on a Tuesday night we wouldn’t have a big turnout especially after having a good turnout Friday night and also for the Holiday party we had on Saturday night. I think New Year’s is a bigger thing when it falls on a Friday or Saturday night.

It was great to have a chance to spend some time with my friends and even though I knew I wouldn’t make it till midnight it would be an awesome way to end the old year. Well it looked like the Karaoke group was going to have a good turnout as they had a lot of their people there earlier than normal. It is funny as we have made so many good friends with their group as they have made us feel so welcomed over the last year in a half, wow it is hard to believe we have been coming here that long but it was in August 10 of 2012 when we first came here and everyone has been so wonderful to us we have come here pretty much every Friday since. It is just such a friendly neighborhood bar kind of like the bar in the TV show Cheers where everyone knows your name. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Well Craig was doing Karaoke tonight so he was setting up by 9 and the place was already packed and Paul was handing out New Year’s hats and Tiara’s and what girl doesn’t love a Tiara even if it is cardboard. I was so tempted to get one but as I would not be there at midnight I didn’t to make sure they would have enough for those who were there plus I have a few from past years. Well we had got the picture of Heather, me and Lynn and it turns out Chris wanted to be in the picture and so we took another one, yes you can never have to many picture and I guess it is not just T-girls who like to have their picture taken, left to right Chris, Heather, Susan, and Lynn. Well while we were taking the picture Jan also wanted in and so we had to get another one, everyone loves to be in pictures. What a pretty looking bunch of girls and a handsome boy.

Well it got late and I had planned on leaving by 9 but as always it didn’t work out that way and it was almost 9:30 by the time I said my goodbyes and paid my bill. It was sad I could stay and usher in the New Year with my friends but work has to come first as that is how my male side buys things for Susan and allows her to go out and have fun, my male side is so generous to Susan he pretty much lets her have what she wants. I joke about this all the time and I don’t want people to think that I really do think of them as two different people as I know I am the same person as Susan or my male self but there are differences in the way I act, think and look at life and it is the blending of the two that make me who I am and so happy.

Well I hope you all had a wonderful New Year’s night and I wish you all a safe and Happy New Year and May you find all the happiness you deserve. Okay here is the last picture, left to right, Chris, Heather, Jan behind Heather, Susan and Lynn, what a great picture.

Thanks for reading my blog, I never thought when I started my blog it would be something others would read but you have and I am thankful for that.
