My life as a heterosexual crossdresser.

Saturday night at Harvey’s Comedy club, once again.

It is Saturday night and our group are going to Harvey’s Comedy club. Now we have been coming here for several years till they closed last summer. It was sold and the new owners have reopened it. I was looking forward to tonight. Now we have gone here so many times but it is a fun night and it is out in a mainstream environment. I like these outings just like Starbucks as it gives us a chance to interact with everyone and let them see who we are. Now as I said it was a busy day and I didn’t get home till 6 pm so it was a rush to get ready.
What helped is I knew what I was wearing tonight and how I was going to do my makeup and as long as I didn’t change my mind I was good. The only problem was I wouldn’t have the time to relax and enjoy my getting ready. Well no changes in what I was wearing and I was all ready by 6:50 and on my way. I originally figured it would be after 8 and I would go straight to Harvey’s but as it was earlier than I thought I had time to go to Fox & Hounds and meet the other girls there first. It was almost 7:30 when I parked and walked to Fox & Hounds. Cassandra was playing pool with one of the girls and Peggy, Jan & Lynn were sitting at the bar. I joined them and we started to talk which is always fun, I love sitting around and talking with the girls. It was great to see them again and Peggy even had on a dress and heels. Melissa and Joan showed up so we had 7 of us here tonight. Now the lady working the Bar was really nice and it turns out she is one of the new owners, yes Fox & hounds was sold a few months back and they have changed the name to Second Ave Sports Bar. We talked for a while till about 8:30 before heading over to Harvey’s. Peggy and Cassandra drove and Jan & Lynn road with them and Melissa, Joan and I walked over. We could have drove but I enjoy the walk although it was a little on the cold side mainly because of the wind.

We got there not long after Cass, Peggy, Jan and Lynn did. We all sat and talked and waited for the rest of the girls to show up. Julie and Trixie were the next to show up and it was great to see them also, I so love my girlfriends. Jeanie and Cassie were the last two to show up so we had 11 of us here tonight. It started to get busy and it looks like they will have a good crowd here tonight. Now we were not sure about our table as we really know no one here now so as people got up to get in line to go in we joined them. We stood there for about 15 minutes and we even talked to the people in front of us and as they took pictures we were in the back ground. While we were in line the manager came over and welcomed us and told us it was nice to see us there and if we needed anything to let him know which was really nice and made us feel welcome.

We finally got inside and got a table, I sat between Peggy and Lynn with Julie and Trixie across from me but I was more to the middle of the table so I could almost talk with everyone which was nice. Of course, I had to get a couple pictures with a few of the girls and of course a selfie. We talked as people came in and we waited for the show. I was right there was a big crowd here tonight almost all the seats were taken. While we waited a man came over and talked with us, turned out he was one of the owners and again he welcomed us. Now I know being knew owners they are really excited and looking to grow their business but still a good feeling.

The waitress came and took our order and she was really nice, now again with new owners opening it up they have all new staff and this is only I think their 6 weekends so they are still working things out and we were used to the old staff who knew us and pretty much knew what we wanted so it is a learning curve on both sides but they did a really good job. She came back several times to check on us and made us feel welcome.

The show started and it was really good, all of the comedians were awesome, we all laughed so hard which made for a wonderful night. This really is one of the more fun events we do. Now we have a couple dinners the next few months but I am thinking we will get Harvey’s back into the schedule after the first of the year. Now the night went by way to fast as it really was an awesome show. Harvey’s is still a wonderful place to go for great comedy, if you are in Portland and want a fun night you must check them out. After the show we were standing by our table still talking as the crowd thinned out and yet another lady came up who worked here and said it was nice to see us here and thanked us for coming.

Now of course I have one other picture that I took with one of the other girls but I forgot to ask if I could post it so I cropped it down. I just loved the way my makeup looked in this picture and of course my smile. I always say a smile make you look better. An y way it was getting late and the girls started to leave. Melissa and I walked back to where we parked and it was a little colder out but still a nice walk. It was a great night out with friends. Thanks to all of you.

Thanks for reading and be sure to keep up on my what I am doing in my most recent blog.

Saturday night dinner out but first Starbuck’s

Okay it is Saturday and Julie; Kate and I are going to Dinner at Noble Rot in downtown Portland. I have never been there, well actually never even heard of it so I am looking forward to it. Julie made reservations for 3 this morning and let us know. I will pick her up between 6 & 6:15 and we will be on our way. Now I had some things I had to take care of today and I actually got done early so what is a girl to do. I decided to start getting ready a little before 3 and by 4 I was already makeup done and looking at my dress for tonight. I decided I just didn’t want to sit at home so I put on my yoga pants and a sweater top and decided to go to Starbucks for a while. Now I know my makeup is a little much for Starbuck’s but I don’t want to have to redo it before going out tonight. At least I didn’t wear the dress and heels to Starbuck’s although I am sure I would have turned some heads. Now while I was finishing getting ready I got a couple messages from a couple of our girls asking where we were going tonight so I was texting back and forth for a while to see if we could add to our reservation which Julie was able to do even though the restaurant is booked up tonight so Karen and Melissa will be joining us.

I got to Starbuck’s and went in, they are not busy which surprised me I figured on a rainy windy day what better place to go then Starbuck’s. The young man at the counter remembered me by name which always makes me feel wonderful. Even the girl who made my drink remembered me, a nice warm cup of hot chocolate which is wonderful on a day like this. It is nice to go places like this where they remember you and treat you well. Now I was at my table on my computer chatting with Karen on Facebook and texting Julie and Melissa to get everything arranged and see if Julie could add them which she was able to do, Thanks Julie for doing that and for making the reservations in the first place. Once that was done I started working on this blog which I will finish tomorrow and also caught up on some e-mails and work. I really do enjoy coming to Starbucks as Susan to do my work, so much better than sitting at home. Now I won’t stay here as long as I planned as I will have to go home and change and also charge up my phone before going out tonight. I left Starbuck’s at 5:30 and went home and changed into my dress and heels and touched up my makeup which actually held up really well. I was on my way to Julie’s by 5:45

I got to Julies and went in, she had just finished getting ready so we chatted for a few minutes before we were on our way. It was a rainy and windy night so I was glad I didn’t make the drive to Salem. Now Julie has eaten here before but I have never even heard of the place so Julie told me how to get there, we got lucky and found a parking spot right on Burnside by the restaurant, I didn’t know how lucky we were. I put my big wrap on in the car not easy to do and it covers up my pretty dress. We got out of the car and we only had to cross the side walk. I parked right in front of the door. The restaurant is on the 4th floor so we took the elevator up. It was 7 so we were just a little early but our table was ready even though they were really busy. July and I sat down and waited for the others to show up, Melissa was first followed by Karen and Kate so we were all here. Now the restaurant is dark inside I guess for the more romantic look but the bad part you really couldn’t see my dress inside either. Kind of a letdown as I really wanted to be noticed in my dress as it was really cute. The booth sat 6 with 3 on each side which was wonderful as with the small group we had we could talk with everyone. Somehow, we got on the topic of cell phones and the cameras and taking selfie’s in low light which I really do think the Samsung take the best pictures in low light. Any way I gave Karen my tip on taking a selfie. I can’t hold the phone out and push the button and get a good picture so I set the timer to 5 seconds, that way I can push the button and then hold the phone out to get the picture I want and there is still time for the camera to focus. This is a picture taken of me in the low light with no flash and remember we had to use the candles on the table to read the menus.

Our waitress came over, her name was Harmony and she was awesome, she took our drink orders and told us about their specials tonight and was just really pleasant. We got our drinks and ordered our food and then kept talking. It was so nice to be able to be in the conversations with everyone. I don’t want to sound like I want to exclude people but it was nice to have a small intimate group. One it is more like the people around us as they were all groups of 4 to 6 accept for one large group in the back. It allowed us to sit with everyone else instead of being at the big table in the back. It was just more of a normal outing. I don’t think I thought once about us being t-girls, we were just ladies out for a nice dinner. It was a great feeling

Our dinner came and it was wonderful, we all had different items and everyone loved what they had. Now the prices are above average but the food was wonderful and so was the atmosphere and the view as the booths sat by the window overlooking the city which would have been a wonderful view had it not been so dark, rainy and windy. Harmony our waitress was attentive to us and checked back on us often to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. It really was a nice dinner and I would highly recommend this place but call for reservations and try to keep your group to 4 to 6 and you will have a wonderful time.

We had a great evening and talked about so many things including of course the real important topics of the day, makeup and heels. It is amazing how fast the night went by, after dinner we had desert and that was also wonderful although I probably should cut out the deserts. I really want to lose some weight by our cruise next year so I am going to have to make some changes to my diet. We also talked about our nails which we all love. Melissa brought up an interesting thing about nails which I had never thought about. We all love having pretty long nails and she said it was the reason we can see them. Here I am all dressed up in a pretty dress, full makeup, heels and hair but I can’t see it unless I look in the mirror, our nails are in front of us and we can see them all the time and that is the feminine part we see the most. Kate was going to take a group picture of us at the table but Harmony came over and took it so we could all be in it, we didn’t even have to ask her she just offered. This is our group after dinner at Noble Rot. Kate, Melissa, Susan, Keren, & Julie. What a wonderful pretty group of ladies.

As I said it went by so fast and soon it was 10 pm and we called it a night. It was truly a wonderful night. The 5 of us and 2 men road down in the elevator together and we talked with each other including the men about dinner. It was just a normal evening out with friends. I really like going to these mainstream places where we can interact with other people. Anyone around us would see we were no different from them other than our dress. We came in, sat, had dinner and normal conversation. We weren’t loud, obnoxious or drawing attention to ourselves and that I think is a wonderful thing. We all dressed like all the other woman here and just blended in although I am sure they knew we were a little different. It was a great night and thanks to my friends for having dinner together and a big thanks to Julie who set it all up.

It was still rainy and windy outside when we left so I was glad we parked right outside the door. Julie and I talked more on the drive back to her house. It was just a fun girl’s night out. I dropped off Julie and drove home. It was about 11:30 when I got home.

Thanks for reading, link to my most recent blog so you can see what I am up to now.

Relaxing Friday night out with friends

It is Friday night and yes, I am getting back into my routine of going out and I am loving it. I so missed it the last few months when I was not able to get out. Susan is a big part of me, not all of me but a big part and I am not complete without her. Any way Julie and I talked and we are going out to the Crush Bar again for dinner and conversation, I posted in our group and so we are hopeful maybe a few others will show up. We said we would be there by 7 so our plan is I will pick Julie up at 6:30 and we will ride over together as it really is not out of my way to pick her up and parking can be bad by Crush as it is a residential neighborhood, plus it is just more fun to go together.

Now I started getting ready just before 5 so it would be another rush getting ready as I wanted to leave by 6. Funny as my male self, I can roll out of bed, shower shave, brush my teeth and all the other things and be dressed and out the door in 20 minutes and any longer then that I wonder what went wrong. As Susan I figure an hour to an hour in a half and when I get ready in less than an hour I feel like something is wrong. Any way it is such an enjoyable time doing my makeup and getting ready. It was just before 6 when I was ready to go. Down to my garage, into my car and I was on my way. It is funny as I always use to look out my windows to see if anyone was out and make sure it was clear, now I just go.

I got to Julie’s about 6:15 and she had left the door unlocked for me so I just went in. Julie was almost ready so it was only a couple minutes and we were ready to leave, this is the one thing I would thing woman would love about dating a T-girl. We really know how long it takes to get ready, you would never hear us complaining about how long you take. We were on our way before 6:30 and we got to the Crush about 6:45 and we were lucky to find a parking spot only a block away this time. Now it was a cool and rainy evening although not raining right now. I chose to carry my sweater so people could see my dress, I am not a fan of coats as it covers up your pretty outfits so I only wear them when I must. It is funny I love the summer because I can go out and not have to coverup my outfits and everyone can see them but a few years ago I hated the summer and loved the winter as it got dark earlier, a few years back during the summer I wouldn’t even think about leaving my house till after 10 PM when it was dark and no one could see me, things have changed.

Now there was a good crowd here and we couldn’t find a table. Seems the back room was set up for a burlesque show so they weren’t letting anyone in there yet so everyone who came early for that was in the small front room. Julie and I did find a place to sit on the couch in the corner which was low to the floor and you sank into it so it was hard to sit like a lady with your knees higher then you but especially with heels on. Kate showed up shortly after we got there so she joined us. In a way it was nice as it gave us a chance to talk with the other people sitting around us. Julie started talking with a guy next to her and it turns out she is a t-girl also and had painted her nails. Her name is Renee and she is just starting out and is nervous about going out. Well this gave us a good chance to talk with her about our group the Rose city t-girls. She was amazed about our group and how many members we have and how often we go out. I am hopeful she will join as she seems really nice and I think she would benefit from the group and having people she can go out with and know where we will be so she is not going out by herself. I know that was the hardest part when I started. I did not want to be out by myself as Susan you know the safety in numbers thing. After a little while one of the tables opened and Julie could get to it before others took it so we had a place to sit and eat.

About this time Cassandra showed up, she had said she might make it, we also invited Renee to join us so the 5 of us sat around a table made for 4 and had a wonderful time. We ordered dinner and had enjoyable conversation. We talked about some of our upcoming events including our dinner cruise in December and our Mexican Crouse next October. Cassandra says we have 16 cabins booked now under our group and she has a few more that are really thinking of going. It would be so fun if we could have 30 or more t-girls on this cruise. We have probably 26 or more signed up now but some are wife’s girlfriend’s or significant others going. Our group really does do some wonderful things and we get so use to it being the normal thing that we really don’t recognize how lucky we are till we start telling someone new about what we do.

The show finally started and people moved back into that room and there was finally room to move around where we were. This is a nice palace and very friendly but the one drawback is it is small and busy on the weekends. Still worth coming here if you are looking for a safe friendly place to go. Another one of our group showed up so we had 5 of us from our group which was nice as this was kind of a last-minute choice. Julie and I knew we were going out but we didn’t pick Crush till Wednesday and announce it to the group till Thursday afternoon. Julie and I were the last to leave and again it was after 10:30 when we left, so much for just a dinner out but that is okay as it was a wonderful evening with great friends.

Saturday night Cassandra and some of the girls are going down to Salem to hang out with some of our members down there and it is a fun place to go but this week I just can’t as it is over an hour drive each way and with the weather and the fact I can’t stay out to late Saturday night I just want to stay someplace local. Julie and I are going to go out to dinner and I think Kate is going to join us. WE left it up to Julie to pick and make reservations and I am just going to pick her up and drive. Works out well for both of us. It will be a fun night just being out as Susan with Julie and Kate. Having great friends, I can go out with and be myself is so wonderful. I truly am a lucky girl to have found such awesome friends. Now next weekend is our big Halloween party and I still have not found time to go out and look for a costume so I may end up using one of my old costumes but either way it will just be the fact I am with my friends.

Thanks for reading and have a great day and a Happy Halloween next weekend.

Thursday night dinner with Julie

Okay I have been out all day shopping and now I am sitting at Starbucks at Jansen Beech. Julie and I are meeting for dinner at Stanford’s and she is meeting me here at Starbuck. It was about 6:30 when Julie arrived at Starbuck. It was goo to see her again. We talked for a little bit before we drove over to Stanford’s. I have been here a couple times before but it was years ago. Now being so late they were not real busy so we got right in.

We got a nice little both ad talked for a while before we ordered. Our waitress came back several time to see if we were ready to order before we actually were as we were busy talking. Well we finally ordered dinner. We had nice diner conversation and it was a really enjoyable time.

After dinner we sat and talked for a long time, it was amazing how fast the time past. it was after 10:30 when we finally left. I really do love going out with the group but smaller groups can be really nice also as it gives you more of a chance to talk. Wednesday night we had 5 and we could sit and talk with everyone at the table, tonight with just the two of us it was really easy to talk. It is funny how in my male life I am not a big talker, probably because the conversations aren’t as much fun. It is way more fun to talk about clothes, makeup nails hair and the like although we did discuses politics a little. It was okay as Julie and I have pretty much the same political views which I kind of new before we started talking about it. This and Religion are topics I avoid most of the time as people have very strong views on both and I have lost a few Facebook friends because they didn’t agree with my views which I find really sad. being in the Transgender LGBT community you would think people would be more accepting to other ideas as for years all we wanted was to be accepted for who we are but it seems some want that for themselves but are not tolerant of others so just for the record I don’t care what your views are I do not pick my friends that way. All I need or expect from my friends are to accept me for who I am views and all and I will do the same. Wow got off track there but I am back again.

I had really nice time having dinner wit Julie and hope to do it more. Maybe even get together like this with some of the other girls in the group also as I think you really get to know a person that way. Any way we said our goodbyes and we were on our way home. the only bad part of the night is both of us forgot to get pictures. It was just such a normal and relaxing evening out we never thought about a picture to remember it by.

Awesome day golfing with friends

Okay it is Sunday and we are having our Rose City T-girl golf tournament at Wildwood golf course. I have been really looking forward to this. Now we are playing a best ball scramble and have 4 teams. This is a fun way to play as it really doesn’t matter how good you are as everyone hits and then you take the best hit and all hit from there. Now I was picking Julie up at 10:30 and we were riding together.

I started getting ready a little after 8 A.M. Yes I spent almost 2 hours getting ready and doing my makeup to go golfing. It really was fun just getting ready for a day on the golf course. I was ready just a little before 10 and was on my way to pick up Julie. I got to her house right on time and Julie had on the cutes golfing outfit. Of course I had to go inside and say hi to Trixie, She was there but wasn’t going golfing with us. Soon we were on our way talking the whole way, it really was a fun drive. We got there at 11:30 and Dan, Laura M, Sophie and her brother, Peggy, Cassandra and Veronica were already there.

we all went to the club house where Cassandra and Peggy had gift bags for all of us. Wow so nice of them. now the teams were as follows. Team 1 Cassandra, Veronica, Julie and Lisa. Team 2 Dee, Sophie, Michelle. Team 3 Melissa, Laura H, Laura M and Sophie’s brother. Team 4 Dan, Kelli, Peggy and me. Now Wildwood remolded their club house and deck area and it really is beautiful.

We all went up to the driving range for a while and warmed up by hitting some balls. I had some really good shots, it was a shame to waist them on the driving Julie and Susanrange. Soon it was time to get ready to golf and of course I had to get a picture with Julie. What a cute picture.

All the groups got together and we went over the rules, Cassandra and Peggy had prizes for the longest drive, Longest put, 4 KP’s (closest to the pin) and of course the winning team. They really put a lot of effort and work into setting this up and deserve a lot of thanks.

Now it was time to tee off and we all went to the 1st tee to get some pictures, both team and individual and of course I had toSusan ready to golf get one. Wow I am holding my club like a sword ready to do battle. The weather was perfect low 80’s and no wind, well it was a little hot if you were sitting in the sun.

The teams started teeing of and we were on our way. Peggy and I were in the same cart so we got a good chance to talk which was really nice, Peggy is really awesome. I really do need to get together with her for dinner. We even talked about my vacation in October and we may get together a couple of the days.

WE had a great time golfing and everyone had some really good shots and some not so good but playing a scramble evens them out. I had one hole that we used all of my shots. Now we finished the front 9 at 4 under par for our team so we new we were in the running to win. The back 9 we dig good to and in the end we finished 6 under par which was enough to win as the other teams were 4 under and the other 2 were 2 under par. So really all the teams did really well. That being said I played all 18 holes with 1 ball, That is right I didn’t lose a golf ball today. I can’t remember the last time I played 18 holes without losing at least one golf ball. I also came close on one of the par 3 for the KP. My shot was about 4 feet from the pin but my team mate Kelli put hers a little closer, I guess if I had to lose that hole I was glad it was Kelli who beat me.

It was a slow round but we never fell behind the groups in front of us. We finished golfing at a little after 6 and then went back to the club house and sat on their beautiful deck area for a BBQ and of course the prizes. It was a wonderful day and I am sure everyone had an awesome time. We had a wonderful social time while we ate. The course was wonderful, the staff awesome, I would give Wildwood a 10.

It was sad to see the day come to an end, it was a little after 8 when we left. It was nice having Julie ride with me as it made the ride home so much better. We talked about how we did golfing and of course we talked about Peggy’s beautiful nails, she had a really pretty reddish pink color on them and of course we both noticed and wished we had them. We got to Julies house and I went in for about 15 minutes so I could say hi to Trixie and we could talk a little. I left her house a little after 9 so it was about 9:30 when I got home. Almost 12 hours after I left this morning. I was amazed how well my makeup stood up. My lipstick was a little worn but the rest looked okay. Probably my hair took the worst beating today but I new that would happen.

It really was a fun day and I want to Thank Peggy and Cassandra for setting this up and of course all my wonderful friends in our group I got to spend the day with.
