Susanmillers Blog

My life as a heterosexual crossdresser.

Saturday trip to the nail salon then to the Escape for a fun evening with friends.

Well first we have 16 cabins booked and 26 people going so far on our Mexican Cruise in October of 2018. Also Last Sunday I did make it out as Susan to Starbucks for a couple hours to write my last blog, now onto today.

I had planned to get out early, get my nails done and then go meet Cassandra at the Escape to watch the Baseball playoffs but as usual things came up and I got a late start. I didn’t get home till 4 so it would be a rush today. I called the Dream Nails to see if I could get in to get my nails done and so there would be no confusion I asked for Anna. Well it turns out she is on vacation so I just asked if I could come in at 5 and I would be surprised who gets to do my nails, so far everyone that I have had do my nails have done a wonderful job. Now it was a rush to get ready and of course the hardest part, what to wear. Something casual enough to go to the nail salon but also nice enough for a Saturday night out. I went with a skirt and top and I wore my ankle boots to the nail salon and took some nice heels to change into after. I was all ready and on my way by 4:40 well almost. I got to the end of my street and realized I forgot my bracelets and ring so I turned around and ran home real fast.

I got to the nail salon at 4:45 yes, it is a short drive and went in, they were not busy at all only one other lady there. Cathy greeted me when I walked in and said she was ready so I sat right down, Cathy has done my nails before. I sat down and Cathy started on my nails and of course we talked a little, she asked me if I had a boyfriend? I just told her I wasn’t looking for a boyfriend and left it at that, I didn’t go into the fact I am not interested in men, just woman. I really do enjoy my time at the nail salon. Now I have always wondered what they think of me here and by that do they think I am full time. Well as Cathy worked on my nails she asked what color I would like and I just told her the clear pink I have been getting. She asked if I didn’t like color and I told her I would love color but it just wouldn’t work at work, that was why I only got color polish when I was on Vacation. She then asked in they didn’t allow color polish where I work so I went on and told her I only dress this way part time and at work I am male and it would be hard to explain color on my nails.

Cathy finished filling my nails with acrylic, shaping them and filing them smooth then told me to go wash my hands. I came back and sat down and Cathy had a different polish on her table and said she wanted to try a different color as the one I was wearing gets a little yellowish after a couple weeks. I looked at it and it did have a pink color to it so I told her I would try it on my pinky like I did a few times back. Cathy smiled at me and said no it would look fine on my nails and I don’t know why I just agreed. She started with my right hand and as I watched the color on from the bottle was pink but it didn’t look pink on my nails so I just let her go. She finished the first coat and for the second coat it was more of a clear color with a pink color to it. After the second coat she put a clear top coat on. I looked at my nails and it did look like I had a light polish on it and gave my nails a healthy natural look. Cathy asked me how I liked it and I said it looked nice, she told me if I didn’t like it she would remove it and redo it but I told her it was fie I liked it which I do just not sure when I am not Susan what people will think. Now I have had nicely manicured nails a little on the long side for months and have left them shinny for the last month and only one lady at work have said anything so either they haven’t noticed which I doubt or just haven’t said anything. I thanked Cathy as she did a wonderful job on my nails, and left with my pretty nails. By the way they look a little different depending on the light and in certain light they are pink. I will include some pictures in different light.

It was about 5:30 when I left the nail salon and drove to the Escape. I got a parking spot right in front which was lucky as we can no longer park across the street in the parking lot. I went in and Cassandra was already there, she got there about 5 to watch the Baseball playoffs, she is a huge LA Dodgers fan. It is funny as we have several girls in the group how are huge sports fan. We also talked about some of our events coming up, we do have 15 signed up for the Dinner Cruise we are doing in December which will be so much fun and of course our cruise next October, as I said above we have 26 signed up for this so far, and probably 15 are from our group. If you want information on it check out our group cruise page. Our group really is wonderful and we have done so many wonderful things over the years. I can’t imagine what my life would be like without some of them in my life. I would not be the lady I am now without them. Now talking about the cruise and what we would do. We are thinking of going down a few days early and going out in LA first. I also realize I need to get a passport which I should do soon as I don’t want to wait.

Now Michelle was the next one to show up and then Page, Kimberly, and Kate, Kimberly and Kate also got in the conversation on the cruise as they are also going. Now some of the girls started playing pool as the Baseball game was over. Cassandra was happy as the Dodgers won. Cassandra was the big winner at Pool as she won a lot of games of course she is also really good so if you can beat her it is an accomplishment.

Karaoke started and as always it gets a little loud and hard to talk any more. It is fun to listen to some of the singers as some are really good and the other well they at least have the courage to get up and sing and that is something. Lori and a few other girls showed up, our later crowd. It is funny as when o first started going out it had to be dark and most of the time it was 9 pm or later before I would leave my house, now by 9 pm. Now by 9 or 10 I am thinking about going home to bed. I like to think it is because I am so comfortable going out and not because I am getting older.

We had a good turnout and it was great to be out with my friends. I am looking forward to Wednesday night dinner as I am planning on going this week. Next Saturday is the week the group goes down to Salem to hang out with our members down there. I am not sure I will make that as it is an hour drive each way or more. I will go out though even if it is just shopping or a trip to Starbucks.

If you have ever wanted to go on a cruise be sure and check out the one we ae going on, it will be a blast and you can dress as much or as little as you want. Okay I have to ask, do you like the nails and do they look too pink?

Thanks for reading and have a great day.

Saturday night at Harvey’s Comedy Club

Saturday is here and it is our monthly outing to Harvey’s tonight. I was really looking forward to this as always as it is such a fun night out but more important is I have a new dress for tonight. It is going to be so fun. It really is funny how much I look forward to going out as Susan, everything just seems more fun and enjoyable. Now like any girl with a big night out I couldn’t wait and started getting ready early. I not only wanted to take my time to look my best but also to just relax and enjoy the experience. I started getting ready at 4 and took my time. I was ready a little before 6 in my pretty new dress.

Now some of us meet at Fox & Hounds at 7 for a little social time before we go to Harvey’s so I was on my way by 6 figuring I would get there a little early. Well that didn’t work out as traffic was really bad and what would normally take me 20 to 25 minutes took me an hour. I got there just before 7. Now I got lucky and found a parking spot right in front of Fox & Hounds. I was the first one there so I got a drink and a table and waited. I wasn’t sure how many would meet here first but I did know we had 11 going to Harvey’s.

Melissa showed up shortly after I did so we had a chance to talk before others showed up. She has been one of our regulars for Harvey’s the last few months. Cassandra showed up next, she also got caught in traffic. Laura H. and Lisa also met us at Fox & Hounds so we had 5 of us here. We talked for a while some about our web page as we had an upgrade to it over the last week. It really looks good and as we find things that can be better we fix them. We hung out here till about 8:30 before walking over to Harvey’s.

Now it was raining a little so I stopped by my car and got my pink umbrella plus 2 others for Melissa and Cassandra. It was a little cold and rainy but it was a nice walk over to Harvey’s. When we got there Cristine was already there and there was a small crowd here already. Now it is suppose to be a good show tonight and a sold out so it will be a lot of fun. Got to talk with Star some she is our favorite bar tender here always good to see her.

Now of course with a new dress I had to get a picture. I had Cassandra take a Susan new dress at Harveys 12-3-2016 (1)picture of me and of course she also had me get a picture of her. I seem to only remember pictures when I have a new outfit or something special going on. Years ago we took pictures, many pictures every time we went out. It really is a cute dress.

Sophie, Lorna, Jeanie, Amy and Cassie also showed up so all 11 of us were her for the show. We all sat and talked till it was time to go in for the show. We even talked some about Diva Las Vegas as Cassandra and I are planning on going and a few other girls are thinking about it. It is Monday March 26 to Friday March 31 if you are interested in going.

We got into the showroom and it was pretty full, not sold out but one of their bigger crowds. Kim our favorite waitress was here, always wonderful to see her. I think we look forward to seeing her and Star as much as we do the show. we really have met some wonderful people as we have gone out.

The show started and it was really good as always. All 3 of the comedians were good and we had a great time. Harvey’s really is a good place to go and see a comedy show, they have really good comedians and treat you wonderful. If you are in Portland check them out. After the show we got to talk with Kim for a while which was nice. I hope she comes to a Wednesday night dinner with us again. Of course I probably wont make the next few as this month will be hard for me to get out on Wednesdays.

Now it was time to walk back to Fox & Hounds where we parked. it was colder and really rainy now so it was good we had umbrellas. Now the bad thing was the Susan new dress at Harveys 12-3-2016 (1)heels I wore were open toed as you can see in the picture. Very cute but only about a 1/4 inch thick so any standing water got on my feet. We hadn’t even gone a block and my feet were wet and of course cold. Probably not the best choice for tonight but they looked so cute with my dress. I really do love cute shoes and dresses. Females have all the best stuff to wear, pretty colors and pretty styles.

WE got back to Fox & Hounds and some of the girls went in for a while. It was late and my feet were cold so I called it a night. It really was a fun night out as always.

Thanks for reading my blog. I started my blog to help me remember my time as Susan and to keep a record of it never thinking others would read it. This is my 903 blog entry, It is hard to believe I have gone out that many times.

A wonderful week

Okay I have got behind in my blogs so I will catch them up briefly in one. Last Saturday our group was out at the Escape for our normal Saturday night out. We had a really good turnout about 15 girls if I remember correctly but I will not even try to remember the names at this point a week later. I did get there early right a head of Cassandra so we got a chance to talk before other showed up.

Our group the Rose City T-Girls has been around since the fall of 2007 and we have used Yahoo groups to manage our group. Now don’t get me wrong we loved Yahoo groups as it really helped us connect with each other but they have done several upgrades and it is just not as user friendly as it us to be so we have been talking the last few months about doing our own web page, one we design and have total control over. and we were really close. Cassandra had the basic web page done so she showed it to me to get my thoughts and it really looks great.

Well other girls started to show up so I put away my computer so I could I could talk with some of them. It was a fun night as always but my mind was on our web page. Karaoke started and it got busy and several of our girls sang. it really was a fun night. It was almost midnight when I left a lot later then I normally stay out.

By Wednesday our web sight was done and Peggy, Cassandra, Cristine and I got together to go over the web sight and make sure everything was right and looked good and for Cassandra to show us some of the Administrator functions, We all have a lot to learn and I am sure there will be some issues and mistakes as we learn. We met at 6 and had only planned on a couple hours. Amy also showed up as she was in town. It was awesome to see her again. We had a nice dinner and all of us had our computers and were playing on the web sight and in the control functions. It was a little after 11 when I left for home.

That brings us to Friday, we plan on going live with our web sight Saturday morning so I really need to have the Administrator functions down as some of it is public but some is member only. We have 6 of us that are running the sight, Cassandra as the owner, Julie and I are Super Administrators, Cristine and Laura are Administrators and Peggy is a sight helper all are really just titles we needed to fill.

I got a late start out Friday night so I just went to Starbucks for what I thought would be a couple hours. I got there at 7 and it was after 11 when I left. Peggy and Cassandra were also online, one of the cool things about our sight is you can see who else is logged into the sight. Any way we were messaging each other as we tried to figure out all the functions and of course going through each page looking for mistakes. Cassandra did a wonderful job on all the pages. there were no mistakes I could find accept for a couple places she put an extra space between words. I doubt anyone would have ever caught it though. the only reason I did is I copied it and pasted it in word to check it as my spelling is not that good. I wasn’t going to fix them as it was so minor but then I decided to so I could get some practice updating pages.

The 6 of us are really excited and looking forward to Saturday morning when we go live with the web sight. We will keep the Yahoo group open for several months so members can get their pictures and we have time to move everyone over to our new web sight. I know we will lose some members as I am sure some of the members no longer follow the group, we had 328 members in the Yahoo Group and I am hopeful we will retain a good amount of them.

Now it is Saturday and our web sight has gone live, Rosecitytgirls.com This is a huge leap forward for our group. Now we just have to reach out and make sure all our member know about it and sign up. Tonight we will be at the Escape again and I am sure a lot of the conversation will be about the new web sight. I have my computer with me and I am sure Cassandra will bring hers. I love our group as it is with their help I am where I am.

Long awaited P-Club update.

Well this is not my normal type of post about me going out as Susan but it is still about me and my life as Susan so I guess it counts. It has been a long wait but the State appellate court ruled this morning on our case against the P-Club for discrimination, You can read about it on Oregon Live. The court ruled in our favor and rejected all of the points Chris Penner used in his appeal.

For those new to my blog our group went to this bar every Friday for a couple years till the owner left 2 voice messages telling us not to come back because his bar was not a tranny bar. You can read about when this happened on my blog from that day here and there is a link on this page to Cassandra’s YouTube page where she actually plays the 2 voice messages he left explaining that his bar was not a tranny bar and that was why he didn’t want us back.

Now from this video we were contacted by an attorney named Beth Allen who wanted to talk to us and and 6 of us went to meet here, Cassandra and her wife Peggy, Cristine, Victoria, Chris and of course me. Beth was awesome and wanted to take our case so the 6 of us signed on with her. Well it was only a week or so later and BOLI (Oregon bureau of labor and industry) who actually deals with civil rights cases also contacted Cassandra and when they herd we had talked to an attorney said they couldn’t talk to us then. well a day later Beth called us and said that BOLI wanted to meet with us so the 6 of us agreed thinking we would be going in and trying to convince them what happened. well when we met with the 3 investigators from BOLI it was clear we didn’t have to convince them. they wanted to pursue this and use us as witnesses which is what happened. We didn’t actually file a law suit or complaint. BOLI investigated and found our rights had been violated and then Brad Avakian who is the commissioner of BOLI filed the complaint in his name on our behalf. Now Beth our attorney who was awesome got appointed to a judge position and had to give up our case so she found us a new attorney named Sue-Del McCulloch and she took over our case for us and she was Awesome.

Now this was a really interesting thing to be involved in and I am glad I stepped forward and got to take part in it. Funny thing is 7 years ago I was working up the courage just to go out and now I have testified in a court hearing and been interviewed on TV as Susan.

Thanks for reading

Different kind of post today

Hi All and forgive me for this post but as I said this blog was set up for me and for me I need to do this blog. We all like to think that the transgender community is one big happy family but as in all groups that is not always the case which is very sad as how can we expect others outside of our community to accepts us and treat us with respect if we cannot even do that among ourselves.

We have a former member of our group the Rose City T-Girls that left the group because she had a fight, disagreement with another member. We are not sure of what it was about as the girl who is still a member has not really made it public in the group what happened which shows a lot of class on her part.

The T-Girl who left started off making attacks against this one member and they have been public attacks online on public web pages. From there she started attacking other members of the group who had nothing to do with what happened other than being friends of the one T-Girl and even now is attacking everyone in the group with her posts and I guess in a broader look all transgender people who are larger than the average woman or older and can’t pass which is totally wrong and sad.

with what is going on with some of us filing a complaint against the P-Club for asking us not to come back because we are transgender there are now video interviews of several of the girls online from the different new channels and as always you can make comments which has given her a hug ability to make these attacks and some are pretty sad and petty. One has to think with the amount of time and effort she spends keeping track of a group she didn’t want to be a part of and the time involved in making these posts and attacks that she must be really unhappy with her own life as she can’t move on and forget about us and the only thing she can do is try to make our lives miserable. It really is sad.

Well any way she has been posting about all the problems we caused at the P-club which we did not and that we deserved to be kicked out which we did not, basically making this whole thing are fault which again it is not so I thought what better way to show this then use her own words as she has left many comments on my blog over the years. I guess she didn’t stop to think that things you put online stay for people to see over and over again. I will put all of them below but I wanted to highlight this comment first as back in February of 2011 we had heard a rumor there was an issue with us being at the P-Club which nothing ever happened and when we asked the bar staff they assured us there was no problems.

Possible issue with our group at the P-Club still a fun night February 12 2011

Great blog as usual, Susan! You always capture the evening perfectly. Yet another reason that I appreciate this blog so much is that on evenings where I drink a bit too much and my memory is foggy, I can always read your blog to jog my memory! I also agree that the owner of the P-Club has no legitimate reason to ask us not to come there. We have been model patrons (well, that is if you’re not upset by your patrons dressing like girls ). My opinion – if he doesn’t like us there, he should come and say it to our faces. Then I would leave with no complaints. But unless I hear it directly from him, I wouldn’t feel right about just ceasing to go there. That’s just my two cents. Too bad the parking is so horrible in my neighborhood. There are TONS of nightspots that would LOVE our business and welcome us with open arms! Unfortunately they all have on-street parking and usually that means you’re lucky to find a spot 4 or 5 blocks from the place that you want to go to. The upside would be that there are so many places in such close proximity that we could even “bar hop” from place to place, and that might be kinda fun. But the parking situation would have to be resolved before we even think about trying some places in my neighborhood. Oh well, I have faith that it’ll all work out.

Keep up the great blogging!

Hugs,
Jennifer

These are all of her comments and the post she left them on and all were very supportive of the group accept for one which was after she left the group. And they back up how much fun we and her had at the P-Club and that we never caused a problem there. Thanks for reading and allowing me to get this off my chest.

A new path on Friday nights June 23 2012 (notice on this comment no hugs Jennifer)

Your logic is severely flawed, Susan. How do you deduce from my statement that I’m putting down all transgendered people? Nothing in my comment makes a blanket statement towards all transgendered people. It’s obvious tat I was referring specifically to the obnoxious trannys who show up at the P-Club week after week making a spectacle of themselves. How that can be misconstrued as a statement towards all transgendered individuals is beyond my comprehension. Are you insinuating that anybody who considers themselves transgendered is above reproach, and therefore never at fault for anything? That’s silly. My point is simply that you’re fooling yourselves if you think that you were kicked out of the P-Club for any other reason than you own actions. You brought it on yourselves, and now you’re trying to make the owner the bad guy.

Tuesday night finally out again at Starbucks April 26 2011

Oh Susan, speaking of neighbors I am having some funny “neighbor issues” myself lately. There are multiple stories, and they’re a bit lengthy to post them all here, so I’ll have to tell them to you sometime soon. The one that I have to mention really quickly is that I have a new neighbor, and the first time that he met me was when I was dressed as Jennifer as he was moving his stuff in. He was blatantly ogling over my body, then he looked up at my face and I could tell from the look in his eye that he was instantly disgusted. The expression changed on his face so rapidly that it was hilarious, and I couldn’t help but let out a little chuckle. Days later when he formally met me when I was in guy mode, he refused to shake my hand. Anyway, there is much more to this story, plus a couple of other neighbor stories that I have to tell you sometime. They’re all hilarious, though!

Love the blog, as always!

Jennifer

Awesome Friday with friends March 19 2011

Yes Susan, count me as one of the ones who is definitely going to Diva Las Vegas next year! I’ll definitely miss seeing you the next several Fridays. I can’t make it to the P-Club this Friday because I have to get up really early on Saturday morning. This will be the first Friday that I’ve missed going to the P-Club since mid-December! Yikes! Also, like you, I HATE having my photo taken as a guy. But Jennifer can’t get enough of the camera! So I understand what you mean. It’s is so weird!

Hugs,
Jennifer

A cold night out for the girls here in Portland February 26 2011

Great blog as always, Susan! And yes, Misty already has some photos on the group page. I posted them last Saturday. So she has several of them posted on there, as a matter of fact. Good job of “finding” her, Susan! She is so much fun! Also, it’s not surprising that you get so many hits on your webpage(s). Norma and I were talking about your webpage and blog this past Sunday night, and we were discussing how great we think it is and what a good job that you do. We stop by and read it on an almost daily basis to see updates. Keep up the great blogging!

Hugs,
Jennifer

6 Weeks to Diva Las Vegas February 16 2011

“People go camping for a week or two but this does not mean they want to live in a tent for the rest of their lives…” Oh my god, that is such a perfect analogy! I love it!

Diva Las Vegas here I come February 5 2011

Well crap, there is no way that I can make Diva Las Vegas this year. Not only do I have a roller derby bout the weekend before, and a race the weekend after, but now I find out that I have to go to Hood River, Oregon for work for two and a half days in the middle of that week! I hardly ever have to travel for my job, but wouldn’t you know it that this would be the year and the week that I have to go out of town. I am DEFINITELY in for next year, though! That gives me plenty of time to schedule the time off and to shop, shop, shop for Vegas clothes. I’m bummed that I can’t make it this year, but put me down for next year for sure!

Hugs,
Jennifer

Passing in public February 2 2011

I am really shocked to read that you feel that you don’t pass, Susan! I’ve always thought of you as passing. I have shown your photo to a number of GG friends of mine and they all swear that you are a GG. As a matter of fact, I got into a heated argument with a GG friend of mine over you because she thought that I was lying to her. It wasn’t until I thought to show her your blog and website that she believed me! Then she was just shocked and kept saying how beautiful you are. Your makeup is always absolutely perfect and your eyes are gorgeous feminine eyes. I think that the eyes have a lot to do with passing. They’re not the only factor, of course, but they’re a big part. I think that you focus on what you perceive to be your flaws (we all do that). For example, you mentioned that you feel that your size has a lot to do with why you feel that you don’t pass. Well, that GG friend of mine who got into a heated argument with me over whether or not you’re a GG, is only 5’3 and 118 lbs., and she swore up and down that you were a GG!!! So your size may only be a factor in your own mind. I know plenty of attractive GG’s that are as tall as or taller than you. I know that we all have our own definition of what “passing” is, but if you cause a big argument between two friends over the identity of your gender, then that’s passing in my book!

Shuffleboard, pool and dancing at the p-club January 29 2011

Great blog, Susan! Yes, it was a different DJ that night, and her music selection wasn’t that great. So I played with my new camera to keep myself busy. It was a great time! Enjoyed finally meeting Alice, too!

New Years eve with friends January 1 2011

Thank you so much for the compliment on the dress! As you know, you are my hero, so any compliment from you means a lot to me! I bought that dress for only $15 at an after Christmas sale at Deb at the Lloyd Center Mall. It was 75% off! It’s my new favorite dress, and it’s the least expensive one that I own! Imagine that. It was my first strapless dress, and it has inspired me, because I’ve since purchased another strapless one to wear on Valentine’s Day! I can’t wait!

Jennifer

Friday at the p-club January 8 2011

Yes Susan, it was a great night (from what I can remember of it)! I danced for hours, over the course of which I drank too much and paid dearly for it the next day. Oh well, I had a blast like I always do with you girls! Thank you so much again for the link to the makeup videos. I watched several of them last night. I like her style a lot, and she is very easy to watch/listen to. And you’re right, she DOES make it look easy! Thanks again and I can’t wait to see you again!

Small group at P-Club November 13 2010

Great blog! You captured the evening perfectly, Susan. And you’re correct, I DID have a great time and I could NOT stop smiling the whole time! So much fun! I can’t wait to go out again! You girls are the best!

Hugs,
Jennifer

Halloween Party 2010

Well last night’s party was awesome. To start my costume was a female Robin Hood and very cute I thought. I took extra time getting ready and did a really good job on my eyes, more dramatic. Now on my way to the party I just had to stop at Albertson’s and pick up some veggie tray’s and candy. Now I know I could have gotten them earlier but what fun would that be. I wanted to go shopping in my costume as it was just too cute to not be out in public. I am sure I got a few looks but who cares it is Halloween.

I got to the party about 6:45 and there were already 20 people or more there and I thought I would be early. The house was all decorated for the party. Peggy had done a fantastic job and had a theme for each room. It was truly awesome and she way out did herself, great job Peggy and thanks. There was so much food and drinks Cassandra and Peggy threw a truly awesome party and me and all the girls in the group really really appreciated it. I hope they know how much, you two truly rock.

It was hard to tell how many people were there as some came and left early and others came late but the best guess would at least 75 to 80 maybe more. The costumes were all so great and fun and some were really good. We had Star Trek, Wizard of OZ, pirates, Vampires and so many more and of course there were so many pictures taken. I have posted my best pictures on my Flickr page and the rest on my Live profile. Please feel free to check them out.

There was even a costume contest and it was hard to pick which one you liked the best, of course I am a Star Trek fan so that was my vote. But really all the costumes were really cute, Peggy in her Pirates costume and there was another girl with a really cute Pirate costume which you can see in my pictures. Cassandra also had prizes for the best costumes. It was so much fun.

The highlight of the evening was Karaoke. Cassandra hired Suzanne, her and her husband do Karaoke at Embers on Sunday night. Her husband had another party he was doing. Suzanne was wonderful and made it so much fun. And I know the big question everyone is asking, Did I or didn’t I sing. Well the answer is yes even though I don’t drink so I was totally sober I put my name in and gave it a try. Sense we were at a private party and among friends I worked up the courage and sang Thank you for the music by ABBA. Here is a picture to prove it. It was actually fun although I don’t think I would do it out in public. And yes Cassandra also had prizes for best singing, best performance and worst singing, I can’t believe how much she did for this party and I hope she knows how much we all appreciated it. I didn’t win any prizes which was fine as it was just a fun night all around

I stayed till 1:45 and the party was still going maybe 25 girls still there. It was truly a fantastic night. This group, the Rose_City_T-girls is truly wonderful and are some of my best friends.

One last thing is a big big thanks to Cassandra and Peggy, you two are awesome and my best friends. Love you both

Hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween

P Club on 10-22-2010

Well it was another fun Friday night out for the group I belong to (rose_City_T-Girls). We had a couple members out of town namely Cassandra who founded our wonderful group so I wasn’t too sure how many would be out. There were a couple post in the group on where we wanted to go but no definite answer so late Friday a couple girls posted they would be at the P-club at 8 so I also posted I would be there and that was where the group should go. When I got home Friday checked the group and still only the 3 of us had posted so I really wasn’t expecting many which is still fun and gives you more time to talk and interact when there is a small group so all was good.

Normally on Friday nights I like to be out by 7:30 (little more Susan time) but as Barb and Cristine said they would be there at 8 that was what I planed which was actually nice as it gave me a little more time to get ready and I wasn’t rushed. I got there just before 8 and there parking lot was full so I had to park out on the street something I had not thought of as I have always been able to find a close parking spot but I guess that extra half hour made a difference. Anyway when I got inside Michele and Rita were already there and they really were not that busy except for a big party they had going on in the corner with about 20 woman. I ordered a drink and some tater tots and we sat and talked. It wasn’t long and Barb and Cristine showed up and our group was growing.

Fia was the next to show up, she is a new member of the group and very passible, this was only her second time out with the group. She usually goes out during the day as that is when she can get out the easiest. She joined in with the group and we all got to talk to her which is so nice. Fia and I talk for a while just like two girlfriends which is probably my favorite part of going out the social part of it. I am fine with going almost anywhere as long as I am with my friends. It was such a fun night and got to know her better. I hope she can come out again on another evening with the group

Maya showed up about 9 which was nice as she seems to be getting out more. She is always so fun. We got to talk a little but she was also on her phone as she was trying to give directions to her daughter on how to find the P-Club, they are new to the area. By this time we were playing pool and Susan had an awesome night as I won 5 out of 6 games of pool, okay two of them the other person scratched on the 8 ball but it is still a win. Maya and Barb play ping pong and Maya won, she played against a couple other people on the club and beat them also, she is really good at ping pong.

Maya’s daughter and husband showed up finally and they were just awesome, totally excepting of Maya and really all of us. She is also very pregnant and du any day now but that did not stop her and her husband from dancing several times. I even played her husband a game of pool which I won he scratched but it was a really close game as we were both on the 8 ball when he scratched.

About midnight our group started to thin out and girls started to leave which is always sad as it means the night is coming to an end. At this time Brook showed up in boy mode, didn’t really get a chance to talk with her. By 12:30 it was down to just Maya and her daughter and husband and I. Maya drug me out on the dance floor, now I am not a dancer and feel really out of place but I tried and can you believe it I broke a nail, well actually Maya squeezed my hand so hard one of my nails popped off in her hand. So now I was missing a nail. When we got back to the table I put my nail in my purse and Maya was looking at her hand and was also missing a nail, I guess dancing is a rough sport so be careful out on the dance floor girls. It was probably 12:45 when we left. Outside I did get a chance briefly to talk with Brook which was nice.

In all it was a fun night and we had a pretty good turn out even with Cassandra out of town which was nice. It is good that the group still is active even when some of the main members are gone, it just shows how wonderful this group is and what good friends we have become. Well I must go as I must figure out what Susan wants to be for Halloween and go get it as I now only have 1 week, nothing like putting it off till the last minute.

Hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween
